We received a very poor cabin (#44) which was completely unacceptable for the price we paid. (Tiny, dark, no proper sitting area). Our friends paid the same amount for a wonderful cabin (#79) on the oceanfront. Reservation made same day. They wouldn’t give us another cabin because they were short staffed on housekeeping. "They have free valet parking because the parking is difficult. The staff here is so friendly, helpful and thoughtful. The grounds are beautiful and fun. This retro 50’s hotel has been recently remodeled but they kept all the old Hawaiian 50’s charm. Loved the free bikes and yoga on the beach. "

"Front desk lady were very nice and helpful. I got a nice ocean front room. It was a bit old but clean. Nice surroundings and very close to a lot of stores, bicycle trail, restaurants and food trucks. Complementary bicycles and free parking were nice. I felt like i got more free ammenities (towels, bicycle and parking) and better service than the Hilton Garden Inn we stayed after. "
