「This hotel was very clean and the staff are quite kind and friendly. It’s such a nice location on the water, but overall it’s outdated and in need of some renovation. The gym was poorly ventilated, and no weights. I did enjoy the sauna, pool and hot tub. It was still a nice place to stay for my family and me.」

He communicated with me very well and made us feel very welcomed from start to finish ! He helped when we blew a fuse immediately! Was a wonderful experience!」

「The only thing good was this was right on the beach. The condition of the rental was very poor. The windows all had sheer curtains so privacy was an issue. Windows didn’t lock. It was very outdated and run down. It took about 15-20 min to get the water in the shower warm enough to get in. I personally would not stay again」

「The location was absolutely perfect!! My 3 year old loved the little play scape on the beach. This mom was able to relax on the water and she played the whole time. Place was pretty sound proof and clean. All amenities were provided which made it pretty nice to cook our meals in. Check in process was kind of weird. I called ahead and let them know I’d be after 3 due to work and there was no direction on how to check in, but the owner picked up the phone right away and unlocked it for me. Will...

「It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too.」

「My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. 「I always enjoy my stay at Lazy Fish, the location and view can't be beat and I love that bringing the dog along is an option there. Tim and Nancy are great with communication and were helpful when we left charcoal for the grill at home. The cabins are older but I can see the updates every year. It has everything needed for a short stay in this unit.」
