「Angler's Retreat is a perfect place for fishing Clarks Hill or Russell. Very convenient to both lakes. The home is well equipped and has plenty of parking for your boat. We will be looking to stay here again when we are back in the area for a trip. The hosts are very responsive and easy to deal with. 」

「The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay. 「I want to give them a 10 out of 10 but the neighbors were so noisy! The neighbors stayed up partying until around midnight Saturday and Sunday. They were outside with loud music and screaming at each other. The house is the cutest place! The hosts were magnificent- we didn’t have hot water and it was fixed within the hour. I’d recommend it but just be aware if it’s a holiday weekend - the neighbors are very loud. 」

「What a lovely place! Very clean and had everything we needed. Modern yet rustic, we loved the decor. Lucy (owner) was very responsive, getting back to me within minutes with any inquiry/request. We were visiting my nephew at Clemson - the property is minutes from campus. There is a cute little square walking distance from the home with a brewery and restaurants. We were traveling with our small dog and he had a great time! 」
