「The view on the bluff overlook in the Mississippi was fantastic. Rooms are clean. Nice place to stay but they do not clean the rooms If you stay there multiple days」

「The converted jail was such an interesting and unique place to stay. The property is beautiful, the house and room were clean and inviting, and the cell block was a great place to hang out and explore. We loved morning coffee on the balcony and the fabulous whirlpool tub for relaxing. Make sure to check out the incredible food at the local Algerian restaurant, and a lovely river walk, or explore the four story antique mall in town!」

「This historic location was an amazing home base for our girl’s trip to NE Iowa. It’s clean and such a unique place to stay. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for the four of us. Our favorite part was people watching from the sun room area, although margaritas on the back patio were a close second. :)」

「The space was welcoming, clean and quiet. It’s a fabulous location. We were at a family reunion but the location near the park offers a lot of recreational opportunities. There is a surprising amount of sleeping space. Shari was very responsive so any questions were addressed quickly. It was very hot so we didn’t spend much time outside but the new patio with the fire pit would be fantastic for cooler evenings. 「Good location, a bit noisier than I expected due to trains during the night and some construction. Close to Yellow River Forest, Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak State Park. Comfortable furniture and bed. Kitchen area includes microwave and small fridge, no sink. Looked like a nice fireplace which I did not use. Shopping, but few restaurants of note on main street; a couple of bars and one gourmet store. Kwik Star right across the street which was convenient. Host was friendly and accessible.」
