「Beautiful well thought out space. Can’t say enough about our suit and the owners. The location is right on the water with easy walking access to the beach and hiking trails. Our hosts Sandra and Doc were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The suit was like new fitted with high end modern appointments. The breakfast that they provided was just what we needed. Had we known how nice this place was we would have scheduled this in our plans for a few more days. 」

「We were scheduled to spend one night. Weather stranded us in Westport for an extra two nights as all roads to the east side of the South Island were closed. Charles, Jackie and Fran treated us like family making us feel at home. It was a memorable stay in a very nicely restored house of a bygone era with an impressive collection of art and artifacts. 」

「Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. 」
