"A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppy, beaches and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. Great restaurant and chef with a good menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner also serving alcohol. Guys in the restaurant very helpful...

" Staff were very helpful and organised our activities and transfers .one of the Bathrooms had mouldy smell which needs resolving. In quiet location but easy to get taxi organised at reception . Food quality was ok if a little slow . Otherwise had enjoyable stay. "

"Beach was beautiful- World Class! The room was perfect- great size. Food was excellent with good variety for all. Pool was fun and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area. Recommend guests to go out on the beach first light to see the fishing boats come in."

"At first instance it seems to be little orthodox and unsafe at night for lonely couple. However, atmosphere is eclectic. Property is well maintained housing good restaurant, swimming pool, rooms with AC and wooden furniture and walls. Open bathroom is its uniqueness. Hotel reception is quite helpful in booking auto to ferry to city center as the resort is little away from the town. "

"A lovely resort. The pool is exceptional. Very clean with nice private bungalows. The food was good and there were excellent touches such as a bird watching walk, and afternoon tea. Delicious food in the restaurant. Beach was very nice. "

"Idyllic quiet location with views of the boats and waterways, extremely courteous, happy and helpful staff. Great food options in house and close enough to pick up a Tuk Tuk to head in to town as well. An ideal place to relax and unwind!"
