"My wife and I came here as part of our anniversary celebration. We were looking forward to a comfortable, learning experience. This is our first time in this part of France but 2nd time in France. You would think that this hotel being in a worldwide historic destination(Dunkirk) that the hotel staff would at least think of visitors that maybe coming from other parts of the world. They failed. They did not accommodate our visit whatsoever. From the initial greeting, I sensed that we were intruding their hotel. There was no sense of welcoming... no sense of warmth that is usually present in places of hospitality. Our stay was anything but hospitable & enjoyable. We couldn't wait to leave. The French are known for their indifference, lack of warmth, and lack of civility... this French hotel staff succeeded in all three. Simple requests were met hesitation, indifference and rudeness. I could go on and on. I will never come back to this place and will advise those in my circle not to come here... or France for that matter as both of my visits to France were anything but enjoyable."

"Fantastic stay here, staff were very helpful and kind. Helene from reception greeted us at 3am due to our transport being delayed but she was so helpful to getting us the right room and giving us all information we needed. Rooms were nice and clean and huge! Would recommend this place. "

"An ideal stopover before or after the Dover ferry, or tunnel. Small but adequate rooms,with a kettle. Easy free parking and a restuarant. There are also a few eating places within a few minutes walk . A little expensive for what it is. But worth it for the location."

"The hotel location is excellent. The room is ok (I suggest asking for one facing the carpark instead of the main road as it will be quieter). However, the hotel reception is open between 9am and midday and then between 5pm and 9pm. This information was not mentioned anywhere on the hotel description. This meant that when we arrived at the hotel at 1pm, so outside these timeframes, we could not even leave our luggage there and we had to dragged the luggage with us for hours until the reception opened later. I have suggested the hotel to include this information on their description to not mislead guests."
