Ants in the downstairs bathroom. (A nuisance but its Florida, insects can be expected) Kitchen trash can didn’t work. (Not a huge deal, just annoying) Wash machine had mold in it. (Surprise, Surprise. I know it’s just a rental) Bathroom outlets didn’t work. (Very frustrating for doing hair if a morning) Outdoor outlets didn’t work. (Made it difficult to charge golf cart rentals. We had to stretch cords all the way from the pool area into the driveway) Fence around the pool area was loose and unstable. (Seriously don’t lean on it) Hand rail to step into the pool was loose, unstable, and not trustworthy. (I’d be leery of an elder or unstable individual trusting it) There were only 2 wash rags and an excessive amount of towels in the master bath. (Not a big deal just odd and inconvenient) Kitchen counter tops were not fastened to the cabinet. Lower kitchen cabinets were not fastened to the wall and were so un-level that the drawers would barely stay closed. (Very unimpressive for a so called 750,000 property) The downstairs bedroom mattress could be described as a “foam pad on a piece of plywood”. (Good place for the guest who doesn’t pay their part) A few inconveniences is understandable but this house has very clearly had every short cut taken that possibly could be. It is evident that the crew doing the construction and maintenance is the cheapest around and provides poor quality work. As a whole the house did what we needed but, I wouldn’t want my name advertised on it.
