Weekend Getaway

My husband and I met another couple for the weekend. It was clean and a great location. The rooftop patio was a nice place to sit and share a bottle of wine while catching up.

Convenient Downtown Location

We were in town for a wedding in downtown Des Moines and this location was great! We were able to walk to the event and also to other fun locations like coffee shops, restaurants, bars and the farmers’ market. The property was very clean and stocked with everything we needed (including lots of coffee!). Would stay here again.

Great place and location!

This property has so much space and such a great layout. The communication was great. It has a 2 car garage that fit my ram 1500 and grand Cherokee. Very clean and well kept! Can’t wait to come back!

Nothing short of wonderful

This was the perfect place for my sister and me. Her daughter/my niece lives in Des Moines and we visit regularly. This will be our “go to” place from now on. It was in just the right area for all we planned to do and is so roomy, comfortable and clean.

Great location

The location of this property is great. It’s close to several great breweries. The night traffic can be loud at times. The place was very clean and worked well for our group. The communication was great. We would stay again.

Amazing place to stay in Des Moines!

This place is amazing! Super clean and very convenient for walking to downtown restaurants. The pictures of the place do not do it justice. The host could not have been more accommodating and helpful! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Des Moines, this is the perfect place.

Two large rooms with own bathrooms. Very nice location for attending a wedding. Patio is comfortable and good view of downtown lights. Garage parking and pet area for our small dog was an extra bonus. Would highly recommend!

Great getaway

The unit had everything and more - coffee/cookies to a private patio on the roof. Great location to walk to breweries and restaurants. Plenty of room to sit and relax. Great communication.

Great spot for a Des Moines getaway

This 2BR townhome was a great spot for our annual sisters weekend. Plenty of space for the three of us and a terrific rooftop deck. The garage was a real plus. We walked everywhere — the downtown farmers market, the sculpture garden, the east village, the river walk, great restaurants, and so much more. We capped off our stay by cheering on two friends who were in the Des Moines marathon. The course ran right in front of our unit. What a treat!

A piece of Peace

This home is so beautiful 😍 even the pictures online were accurate & honestly does the home no justice in person. My favorite part was the “master bedroom” with the double shower head & everyone lovvved the home in general’s especially the roots. The beds are so comfy, I never heard not one neighbor of noises. 10/10 Ty for having us for the holidays

Amazing location

This is a hidden gem in the downtown area! The pictures do not do the space justice--it is big!! The patio area is so fun. Wish we had a better weekend so we could have enjoyed it! The master bedroom is HUGE!! There is so much space for 5 of us to enjoy a weekend exploring DM. Close enough to walk to so many great restaurants, breweries, and bars. Great living room area to relax and play games. I wish we could have had better temperatures to spend more time on the patio, but Iowa weather! Ha!! We will be back!!

Lots of space in smaller footprint

We had a short weekend trip to Des Moines. We typically get a place in the burbs, but wanted something downtown this time. This was a good choice and will likely do it again. Clean, quite considering on Grand Ave., nice appliances, etc. Very nice to have private garage. Beds were a hair firm for me, but not bad. Not an issue for our group, but for those less mobile folks there are lots of stairs. My only knock is that in Iowa there are many more cooler nights than warm and it would be a huge benefit to add a small fire/heat insert to the rooftop patio. This is a key feature of the place for us, but a little to cool for everyone to sit out there and enjoy it. Overall, really good option and enjoyed it!

Perfect home/location

This condo was right in the heart of Des Moines. It's situated across the road from the Papajohn sculpture park, walking distance to several brewpubs and fine restaurants, and literally just down the road from the Governor's mansion. The attached garage is large enough for 2 cars but they also provided a parking permit for another car in the private parking lot in back. Everything was exceptionally clean and the house was comfortable and welcoming. The owners are pleasant and friendly to deal with. They even left a welcoming gift for us and our dog. This place was perfect for us to spend Thanksgiving with family in Des Moines. We all highly recommend staying in this lovely vacation home.
