We stayed at Uptown Suites Extended Stay Denver – Westminster for three nights, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations set by the “extended stay” description in the listing. The front desk staff was friendly and responsive — we truly appreciated their help when we found pet hair on the couch. They promptly changed our room without any hesitation. However, the kitchen setup was disappointing. Although the room includes a stove and coffee maker, there were absolutely no pots, pans, plates, or utensils — not even a kettle to boil water. When we asked for at least some disposable items, we were told that the only option was to purchase a plastic dishware set for $50, which felt unreasonable and completely out of line with what an “extended stay” should offer. Overall, the hotel is clean, and the staff was polite, but if you’re booking this property expecting to cook or use the kitchen during your stay, be aware that you’ll need to bring your own supplies or pay extra. That was a major letdown in an otherwise average stay.

Cheap explains it all

It was a room. No maid/cleaning service for the full 8 nights. I had to replenish towels at the front desk. Hotel is not responsible for any amenities - TV, laundry, vending. They are all outsourced and the TV feed never worked correctly (I heard it had been bad for 3 weeks prior). Lost money in the laundry for detergent. Have to call the vendors number to try and get a refund. Was warned about several machines, washers and dryers, that weren't working correctly. If you are trying to save money and have an extended stay, it might be what you need, but make sure your expectations are low. There aren't any kitchen utensils, pots and pans, or drinking glasses. They may have those at the front desk but I don't know. There are restaurants nearby (walking distance).

Good stuff first: clean, well appointed room, good facilities. Not so great: hotels.com said there would be Queen sized beds. Nope. They were full-sized - not great for 2 adults. But at least the hotel was honest about it. But worse: An important reason for booking this hotel was the EV charger, located right outside the front entrance. And that was the problem. Every! Single! Time! the 2 charging spaces were taken by non-electric vehicles, mostly those of staff. Every! Single! Time! we had to go inside and ask for somebody to move their non-electric vehicle. If we were lucky, it was indeed staff who moved their vehicles relatively quickly - only to return to the same spot the next day or even right after we finished charging. If we were unlucky we were met with incomprehending looks: "I don't know whose vehicle that is" (said about a very flashy, roaring sports car where one would think the staff noted the owner). Once - once! - one charging space was taken up by another EV and that was fine. But for guests to take second place to staff felt not good to the point that after a few days, we gave up and parked our EV elsewhere. We will probably not go there again or only with a non-electric car.

Pillows and bed left you feeling a bit uncomfortable for overall cleanliness. This was a suite with kitchen but no plate set, or even silverware so I would have needed to bring any cooking supplies. Maybe this is how it is across all chains, but it was disappointing. The front desk person was nice and located a couple paper plates for the first night which was nice.

Unsafe and stressful stay avoid I stayed at Uptown Suites for two weeks while escaping a domestic violence situation. The room was dirty, the bed had hair and an old uncomfortable mattress, and the microwave didn’t work. Check-out was a nightmare: the front desk refused to let me use a luggage cart, my key card kept failing, and I was even locked out of my room with my purse and money inside police had to be called. The on-site manager was aware of everything and did nothing to help. Other guests confirmed the same front desk clerk made their stays unbearable. I cannot recommend this hotel.
