This beautifully updated cozy log cabin was built in 1925 and sits on the canyon hillside with over 500 feet of Bear Creek frontage. Wake up to the sunlit canyon walls out the windows. This home has everything for a fun and relaxing vacation in Colorado. It's located just 8 miles up Morrison Road past Red Rocks Amphitheater, and less than 2 miles from Historic Downtown Evergreen. Lots of hiking and biking trails, fishing spots, and water activities at Evergreen Lake. Some of the best dining in Colorado awaits you! Or cook up your favorite food in the updated kitchen, and sit down by the mesmerizing creek.

This is strictly a pet free home year round for the comfort of all guests, thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin and it had everything you need. Close to town with great restaurants and shopping. The Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The creek is beautiful and even had some elk visit us on our last day.

Great location. Exactly what we were looking for. VERY responsive host. This is a lovely place. Everything was perfect. I especially loved the record player that had a Frank Sinatra album ready to play! This home was tastefully decorated and the beds were comfortable.Thank you!

Great Cabin! We appreciated the very well stocked kitchen, the star gazing deck and chillin down at the creek. Within 30 minutes of Red Rocks, White Water and TONS of Hiking!! Incredible time with so much to do. Excited for our next CO visit.

Everything was amazing. Kitchen very well appointed. Extremely clean throughout with ample linens. All equipment was easy to use and of course the scenery outdoors was so relaxing. Host was great as well. Answered all our questions prior to check in. Great experience and have shared listing with others coming out to Red Rocks.

A picturesque lovely getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a beautiful cottage. We loved all of the outdoor areas to relax and gather to eat. The kitchen was beautiful and very user friendly, I enjoyed cooking a few meals for the family while we stayed there. So many beautiful places to explore nearby.

Convenient to Red Rocks

We stayed here while we were in town for a concert at Red Rocks. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Location is convenient to Evergreen and Kittredge or Morrison. It is right on a busy road, so keep that in mind if that matters to you.

Wonderful Property

This property was excellent, the house is exactly as it appears in the listing, no disappointments. We loved the location, it's far enough from Golden to avoid all of the hustle & bustle but still convenient to many of the attractions. Our son loved playing near the creek after coming home from our adventures each day. Laura was very responsive to the questions we had and the home was stocked and appointed better than any property I've stayed in. Thank you for providing such a nice place for our family to enjoy!

Best spot near Denver

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Creek Stone Cottage! Laura was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave really great tips for trails to hike. The house was immaculate and we had so much fun with the games. The house had any item you may need and we appreciated the use of the washer and dryer. We wish we would've made our stay longer. We hope to be able to come back!!!! If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay this is it!!

Minutes from Lake Evergreen

Cozy cabin very close to downtown Evergreen. This property was extremely clean and had plenty of anything and everything you could possibly need while on a trip. From toiletries to kitchen supplies there was nothing I had to make a trip to the store for except food. Best stocked VRBO by far! We had fun and enjoyed Evergreen! Fantastic Mountain Home!

This home was perfect! The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Laura gave us ideas of places to visit, which was beneficial. The house was very clean and fully stocked. Anything and everything you can think of, Laura had it. It was spacious inside and tons of different seating areas outside. We especially loved the lounge chairs on the river. Me and my family were very happy with this stay and I would definitely recommend this home to others! Thanks Laura!

The House is beautiful, stock with everything and more that you or your family would need. The set up of the house is prefect the rooms are huge and decorated to make you feel at home. Location is perfect between the wonderful town of Evergreen and Kittridge, so much to do Hiking trails everywhere you look, Bear Creek trout, right out in front of the house, enough said. if you travel in like staying in beautiful places this is a Must. Wonderful home for a family get together. Very clean, probably the best stocked home I have ever stayed in with extra linens and supplies, and a kitchen with everything needed to actually cook a meal. Although, with the proximity to both Evergreen and Kittredge, we often visited local restaurants instead of cooking.We also enjoyed the proximity to hiking, our favorites being Lair of the Bear for the little one in our family and Eagle's View Loop in Reynolds Ranch County Park (amazing viewpoint!).The home had a secure outside perimeter to keep our grandaughter from wandering down to the creek on her own. And the home included provisions for small ones, e.g. there was a Pack & Play for sleeping at night.All-in-all a nice stay. There is a lot of traffic on 74, which isn't obvious on the listing (or maybe I missed it). The house is well insulated, so no traffic noise inside. And after a while you don't notice is when using the outdoor areas. As stated above, the location is great for quick access to local sights.

Our first time in Colorado

Great location. 20min ride to Red Rock. Close by hiking trails. House is setup nicely. We’ll stock and clean. Bear Creek is right in the front and had my coffee every morning on the Adirondack chairs. Multiple decks to sit and enjoy a cocktail. Definitely will be going back next year. The only thing that may bother you is the cars and motorcycles flying by in front . It was not a issue for us.

Little Piece of Heaven!

Overly impressed with everything about this property. Details Matter, and are there plenty of details. Tranquil and relaxing is just the beginning of describing our experience. Perfectly decorated for a mountain experience. Plenty of amenities that are not usually included in any VRBO. We were spending a long weekend there to attend a concert at Red Rocks and the drive, to and from, were just beautiful. I captured some of the most breathtaking pictures of the night sky and nature in general. We would most def stay at this property again! Laura was a perfect host and made sure everything was just perfect! Thank You such a wonderful experience!

Fantastic week in Evergreen CO!!

We had a wonderful stay at Creek Stone Cottage!! The house was clean and super comfortable. I have to give this property 1st Place for best stocked rental property, and I have rented a lot! Everything we needed was there, short of the grocery run we made the first day and never had to go back. Coffee, tea, all the spices and condiments too. All paper products were provided and all bathrooms well supplied with fluffy towels. The little extras made us so happy! The property is nicely decorated and the multiple decks outside make for wonderful places to relax with a variety of views. We saw a parade of elk walk by the property along the creek! Laura was super helpful with activity suggestions as well as dining recommendations. When we were tired and just needed to relax, the two large screen TVs were a big hit! Thanks again, Laura, for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful Evergreen home!! 5 Stars for sure!! ❤️
