Totally fine hotel. Clean, good location. But wifi is poor and TV in my room wasn't working.

Everything was fine except I could not believe that there was no free water or internet for anyone. I thought that was very unfitting of an establishment of this size.

This is a historic hotel, and communication from Omni promises an exceptional experience. Our stay was OK for the most part, but definitely not exceptional. 1. Hotel electricity is old and we needed to call maintenance two days in a row when my son used the hair dryer and the electricity shut off. 2. The refrigerator in the room was set improperly and I had to throw out leftovers I planned to eat because they had frozen solid. 3. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. Booking is through OpenTable. I booked a 2:00 spot and got a message from the restaurant saying that they had canceled the reservation because the restaurant closed at 2:00. First, they should not be offering this time through OpenTable if they will not honor it. Second, they need to actually cancel the reservation if they do this - I had to go to the desk at the restaurant and ask them to cancel it manually because OpenTable wouldn’t allow me to book lunch elsewhere until I did so. 4. Free wine voucher came with the room but the server charged me for the wine and I had to ask her to remove it from the bill. 5. Housekeeping threw out the box to my son’s new sneakers, which he had wanted to keep. 6. I got a text from the hotel asking to reauthorize my credit card because my bill was over $3000. My room was prepaid. Hotel itself is beautiful and nicely located, but would not stay again due to so many annoyances. Rooms also quite small.
