Staff was great! The room was very neat and the bed was one of the best I’ve ever been in. The elevators and stairs were so far spaced out, it felt like walking a mile just to exit the building. The stairs had little to no signs as it felt like going through the back rooms just to exit the place. Breakfast was awful, there were more flies than there were guests, simple requests for allergies were ignored, buffet was unavailable, hot tub was out of service, pool water felt stale and little chlorine, the carpet in the hallway felt damn and smelled like so the whole stay. Parking was good, except that trying to find your way inside through the maze of the stairs back to your room is a nightmare.

Pretty property. One of the exit gates was broken with no signs telling you that until you reached the broken gate, you had to turn around and drive back to the entrance gate to get out. No coffee or cups in the room. I called to request some. They arrived several hours later after we’d left for the day.

The first room had a portable air conditioner and did not cool off properly. So they moved me to a room half the size on the first floor by the noisy pool entrance. The metal gate which was very near my door was noisy and would not lock at night. the bathroom was very small and there was no microwave in the room.

Check into the room and there was trash and left over boxers in the room. Mistakes happen but then the AC didnt work. We left early. Very disappointing because we love staying in Del Mar.

Room was clean and comfortable. The outside sitting area was nice at night to chill and hangout, although a staff member came through without saying a word to anyone turning off all the fire pits around 9 pm. It would have been nicer if they at least waited until 10 pm. The property is nice but definitely needs some updating and the elevators are very small. For the price we paid for our room I was expecting more.
