Great location
The cabin was clean and perfect location. We hit the local springs and enjoyed our time "kinda off the grid". We will be definitely book another stay!

Wonderful and Peaceful
The cabin is great for a family or a couple weekend! Ms Chris was very helpful when needed and was quick to respond! Would totally refer and book again! The lake right there is very shallow and was great for paddle boarding! Took the paddle boat and around and ripped some lips!!! Great little spot! Also gave Ms Chris some tips to help! So book it and enjoy it!!!

Just what we needed.
We needed a place close in relation to family staying at nearby campground. and this place was more than perfect for just that all the necessary amenities. It truly was just what we needed. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We wanted to celebrate New Years Eve away and found this listing, it was the Best! The sunsets on the dock were breath taking! It was my boyfriend and our 3 daughters on this trip! We made memories of our first vacation as a family. We will highly recommend this place to others!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin by the lake. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. Close enough to town for convivence but far enough for relaxation. The cabin was spacious and the comfortable. The owner was quick to respond when messaged.

End of Summer Retreat
Serenity Unleashed! This little gem is the perfect get away! Peaceful, comfortable lakefront cabin located a few minutes north of DeFuniak Springs, and a few minutes more to the beaches...has much to offer, and there's something for everyone! Host is friendly and helpful. I'm already looking forward to my next stay here!

Adorable lake life get-away
We loved the property - it's secluded, the pier has the best lake view, and the cabin had everything we needed. It was a wonderful getaway and next time we will bring kayaks as there is a boat ramp on the property! The owner was so helpful and accomodating and a pleasure to interact with! Bring your own outdoor chairs and dont expect to swim in the lake - it's for fishing and kayaking but definitely not swimming. We will absolutely be back again in the future! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing
It was very comfortable and had a large living room where you could have a lovely view of the lake. John went to fish, but all he caught was about 20 turtles! Maybe it was nesting season. We had friends nearby, so we had a great time with them!

Great stay!!
This was a very relaxing stay for us! We got four bass and one brim in our two day vacation here! We thought the lake was empty at first cause you can see the bottom all over the lake and we didn’t see fish for a long time. But we bought our boat and got into the coves and they are indeed fish in there! We loved our stay!

Relaxation by the Lake
This is our 3rd visit to this cozy lake-front cabin. Sunset on the dock, yoga by the lake and some pretty big fish all added up to a great week! Thanks, Dan, for being such an excellent host. We will see you next time!

Most Relaxing Stay EVER!
This place is definitely a hidden gem. The cabin was very clean. We brought the boat with trolling motor as well as the kayak. The grands had the best time paddling around in the kayak as well as getting to ride the boat. Of all my trips to this area this was absolutely the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. Our host was absolutely fabulous. With the one issue we had, he was extremely prompt to address it. I will no longer shop around for a rental when I come to visit family. This will be my go to stay!

Serenity Now!!!!
We booked the cabin for a week and it was exactly what we needed!! Rest and relaxation from our very busy overstimulated lives! We brought our kayaks and went fishing on the beautiful private lake! We were the only ones on the water. We fished from the dock also. Napped in our chairs by the lake. Watched movies at night. Not a soul around except us. So peaceful! We found a long standing community restaurant for the best burgers and shakes right up the road! Very quaint small town. We spent a day exploring nearby springs which were gorgeous! Dan the host was very responsive to any questions we had. The property had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Stores are close by for any supplies needed. We will definitely be back!!! Perfect retreat!

Cabin on the Lake
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Cabin included everything you need such as appliances including washer and dryer as well as pots, pans, internet, and AC. The owner was very courteous and responded quickly to any messages or calls.
