I had booked a non smoking room. Upon arrival it clearly was a smoking room because of the strong smell and the cigarette burns on the top blankets. It was the Daytona 500 weekend so they didn’t have another room to give us but after we discovered the sink didn’t work we couldn’t stay there. After multiple conservations with the desk and Expedia, I finally did get a refund but lost out completely on the weekend and had to go home as there were no other hotel availability in the area. The reviews were good on Expedia so not sure what went wrong. My expectations were low to begin with being Daytona and on the beach-but this was really bad especially for what they charged for that weekend.

Requested early check in and arrived at 2:51pm for a 3:00 check in . Was informed by reception would have to wait as someone else was coming on shift at 3:00 pm. Lobby and-breakfast area very small and not clean. Many street people around this area. The room we were given had blood stains all over the carpet and had a door that did not lock . Very dirty room and unsafe as there was no lock . Left and rebooked another hotel . We are still hoping to get a refund. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere!

Room carpet was very clearly dirty! Had to wear shoes! They ran out of pancake mix at 8:30 am Went in at 10 am and asked if they had more mix. They said yes and that we could make one! My friends went in to make one and they said breakfast was over / was ignorant! No phone, no hair dryer. Very disappointed and would never go back.

Limit supply of toilet paper - no extra left in the bathroom - room towels replaced and garabage emptied but beds not made or changed. Pool was closed. Did not know this until the next day. It had a great view of the beach amd there was continental breakfast.

The Maintenance has been done poorly for a long time. Front desk girls were great. The pool was closed, which is a major reason I booked with this hotel. I think compensation or at least notification should be given for something so major.

Staff was fine! For $1700.0 for 3 nights was right out ridiculous. First room had blood all over the comforter, curtains, bathroom door and the lamp shade had blood and mold (I have pictures) the room smelt so bad it was unbearable. The 2nd room was cleaner but rooms are very run down. No bolts on the door, chain was just hanging with no lock. Middle of night was woken up to someone jiggling my door knob. Did not feel safe here at all. I understand raising prices due to the Daytona 500 race but for over $500.00 a night was just uncalled for especially when the rooms are old and smelly. Was afraid to lean on the balcony railing because it moved and was all rusted. Went for a walk on the beach and when I returned there was homeless men sleeping up against where the entrance was to the hotel. Made coffee in the room and the creamers were so old it just broke apart in pieces because it was so hard. It would be bearable if the price wasn't over $500.00 a night. Just can't believe we paid that for what we got.

Upon checking staff was very kind and helpful. That was the most positive thing I can say about the motel. It was very rundown, poor condition door latch broken to lock door, holes under balcony door had to plug the hole with plastic bag, my sons balcony door actually fell off so he had to put door pins back in to close door, very Very dirty carpet and floor very tore up and stains Didn’t take my socks off to walk throught room, my little son wanted to sleep in rental car rather then in the room, We didnt put anything luggage on the floor due to condition, The sheets were clean though, the pool wasn’t able to be used due to a water safety and cleaning issue for our stay, did have a good view of the beach though. complementary breakfast was lacking we did not use due to motel cleanliness. Coffee machine was a powdered water machine in front lobby/desk. Overall would advise anyone to stay anywhere else it is in bad shape. The online pictures did not show what poor shape the motel had in store for us, we had booked these rooms months in advance so all hotels near the area were booked and or were very high priced as in 500 a night, I just hope to let people know this motel is in very bad shape! It was a big bummer for our family trip.

The light in the room did not work only one little lamp for light. The hotel is overall dirty and dingy. Biggest issue for me was the very weak water pressure. The shower head was cheap and very poor quality. Water poured out the tub spout but the shower end came out like a trickle. The quality of workmanship was poor. You could tell they really did not care. No TV guide or wifi was provided either. Hard to find much about it that would qualify as "Quality" other than the name.

Room had drywall, no outlet covers,lamp didnt work,phone didnt work, cold draft through door. Dresser dirty. Staff was not answering phone when i called to let them know, manger seems to never be in the office as ive callled dauly and emailed and have not received a response yet. Horrible service!! This wasnt my first stay at this hotel but will be my last!!!!!!

Yes, there was an awful smell in the room that gave me a headache within a few minutes of entering the room causing me to leave abruptly and I ended up sleeping in my car instead

We were upgraded to an oceanfront room. The room was comfortable and pretty decent. Access to the beach was easy. There was no water in the outdoor foot washing stations. Looks like the water had been turned off. So had to go back int the room with sandy feet. The breakfast was free, but very average. There were very few options. Staff was polite and friendly.

Not good for the price, Tv didn’t work and parking was difficult not too many spots, breakfast buffet was awful.
