Lakeside Retreat on Lake Lanier - The Peaceful Perfect Getaway for Couples
Welcome to Dawsonville and one of North Georgia’s most intriguing locations, Lake Lanier. Here you will enjoy beautiful North Georgia mountains, vineyards, outlet and boutique shopping, hiking trails, as well as a short drive to downtown Atlanta. This quaint studio cottage has all you need for a perfect getaway.
You will enjoy fully furnished nights with a plush king size bed, fully stocked chef’s kitchen, and a custom designed master bath with a stand-up shower and a beautiful air-bath tub. Comfortably heated floors are included for colder nights and a gas firepit table on the deck.. On warmer evenings you will enjoy sitting on the outdoor porch, overlooking the tranquil garden of evergreens or on the newly added side deck with views of Lake Lanier.(Please know that we are on the lake, but we do not have a dock.)
This will be a perfect alternative to a hotel stay for you while visiting Lake Lanier, North Georgia mountains, wineries, or Dahlonega. We live right around the corner on the lake with a dock. We have two kayaks available for rent with access to the lake from our dock. Please inquire when you book to see if these are available. You are more than welcome to hang out on our dock and fish/swim.

Cutest little bungalow
We stayed for a very quick weekend. We attended a wedding within 30 min of the property and didn't want a stuffy hotel. The place is adorable, clean, has everything you need, and is nicely tucked away from the hustle of city life.
I saw a hummingbird outside the window the first day and knew we had found the perfect little weekend spot.

We had such a wonderful stay. Donna was 100% helpful in anyway if we had any questions. The cabin was absolutely wonderful and so peaceful. Me and my hubby celebrated our 1 year anniversary and my birthday together at the cabin and we came back home so happy. We even went for a walk around the neighborhood after dinner one of the nights. I absolutely loved the view at night and I love how everything was lighted up at night. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends that want a quiet and country getaway. We will definitely be back when we want some alone time.

The place was just as pictured. Very cute and perfect for a couple. Donna provided much more than any vrbo we ever stayed at. The refrigerator was stocked with everything we needed for our 5 day stay and she even provided a bottle of wine for each of us. There are many nice wineries and places to visit in the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. 5 stars from us for sure.

Excellent stay! Clean, cozy, centrally located, and a perfect hostess.
Our stay was absolutely amazing. My main concern when traveling is always the cleanliness of the place we are staying. Our cabin was very clean and cozy. I felt like so comfortable there. Donna, the owner was more like a family/friend hostess rather than someone we rented from. She definitely has a God given gift of hospitality. From the stocked kitchen, to the perfectly decorated rooms it was wonderful. Unless you want to cook a huge meal she has everything you need! My husband loved her huge selection of coffee. She left us a welcome note with sweet treats which was so thoughtful. The bathroom is also stocked with everything needed. The heated bathroom floor was nice. With the Cross above our bed and the Bible on the table we felt right at home. The cabin also was stocked with games, books, an Alexa device, and televisions. From the outside you have small a view of the lake. There is a public lake access near by. The cabin is located in a very nice, family friendly neighborhood but the cabin is still private and quite. It's also located very near Dawsonville, and Dahlonega and within in driving distance of Helen, Amicalola Falls, and Ella Jay. If we ever visit the area again we will definitely stay here. This was my first VRBO booking and in the future if they are not all this wonderful I will be so disappointed.
