この別荘は、大規模な改装工事を経て、繊細な海岸の海をテーマにした趣のある大きなオープンフロアプランを作成しました。 コテージは、花崗岩のカウンタートップを備えたオープンキッチンや、リビングルームとダイニングエリアを見渡せる最新の機器など、家族の集まりに理想的なスペースを提供するように設計されています。

2つの広々としたベッドルームにはそれぞれ専用のバスルームがあり（追加のハーフバスは便利なリビングルームの外にあります）、近くの海の波を聞きながら眠りに落ちる素敵で穏やかな環境を提供します。 コテージは、最大8人まで快適に収容できます。マスターベッドルームにキングサイズのベッド、フロントベッドルームにクイーンサイズのベッド2台、リビングルームにある革張りのソファは、開いたときに別のクイーンサイズベッドを提供します。

Picture perfect - inside and out!

My stay at Blue Fuskie was restorative beyond compare. The flora and fauna of the island, as well as its residents, were uniquely welcoming. Dafuskie is the ultimate retreat full of natural beauty, with warm sun and surf and moonlit nights by the sea.

A Good Time Was Had By All !

Like so many people, I have been feeling the stress of all that is going on, business, and the pace of life. I realized I needed a vacation and the thought of staying at a crowded hotel and not being able to get out when I needed just did not interest me. I went on line and saw this beautiful house and realized this is where I wanted/needed to stay. I reserved the house before talking with my Wife but she agreed that this place looked great! When we got there, the property was as beautiful as the pictures and we spent 4 relaxing days listening to the waves looking at the amazing views. I had plans for so many things, but the house was so relaxing and comfortable that I spent most of the time in a state of bliss. The house had everything I would have imagined and we wanted for nothing. This was one of the best vacations we've ever had and will be going back to Daufuskie on a regular basis. We are counting the days when we can return!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

Beautiful property for a simple and relaxing family vacation. We enjoyed waking up to the beautiful ocean view, spending countless hours on the beach and driving around on the golf cart exploring the uniqueness of Daufuskie. Tons of wildlife, culture and wonderful people! Can’t wait to return!

Nearly perfect - would stay again

You can't beat the location. It was also very clean, and host provided everything needed, plus a few other useful things that were above and beyond. I was worried when I saw that the listing had been amended to say that it was a duplex since the time I booked it; however, we only had to share the unit for one night, but we didn't hear ANYTHING from next door. There were a few things that could have been better but not enough to add up to a whole star. We did see a few of those big roaches but no ants which is an accomplishment because otherwise the entire island is crawling with fire ants (except the beach). All in all, Daufuskie was a great trip and this property enabled us to enjoy it to the fullest. You should manage your expectations about the island itself - there's a reason it's not as busy as other places. There are definite inconveniences, especially involving travel, dining, and supplies; we and our luggage got soaked to the skin on the boat ride over. There was no restaurant on the island where you could eat inside, just picnic tables outside. I heard they're repairing one that might be different. However, to us, it was worth the quiet, beautiful beaches and abundant wildlife. Do your own research and know what you're getting into before you go to Daufuskie. Thanks to the host for providing a nice stay.

Perfect Getaway

We had the best time on our little getaway to Daufuskie Island. The Blue Fuskie was exactly as stated and the property managers were very easy to work with. The view from this cottage is amazing... perfect for a cup of coffee on the porch watching the sunrise over the water. We hope to return soon and would stay at the Blue Fuskie again!

BEST. VACATION. EVER.

I'm not even sure how to put our vacation into words. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and homey. When it says this location is right on the beach, they mean 100 steps from the door, literally on the beach! I don't think there is a more beautiful view on the entire Atlantic. The home had most everything we needed and everything promised including a super comfortable bed. The management team did an excellent job helping us navigate our trip here with golf carts, ferry support and transportation information. We absolutely fell in Love with Bishop at Bell's, Jaimie at Daufuskie Crab, everyone at the rum company, School Grounds and everyone at Lucy Bells! What amazing people who call Daufuskie home. We spent days at the pool, on the beach, reading and had the most fun exploring the island in the gold cart. We've been on many, many great vacations, but this was by far the most amazing week ever. This is the first and only vacation we've EVER HAD where we dont feel like we need a vacation from our vacation! Thank you Daufuskie...we cant wait to visit this little piece of heaven again very, very soon!

This cottage was everything we had hoped! The home is simply beautiful and the view is gorgeous!

We enjoyed easy access to the private beach every day! Our family had fun discovering the island and experiencing the many forms of wildlife! This vacation cottage is everything and more than described.

A serious BUG problem

We had really high hopes for this beautiful home on Daufuskie. We fell in love with the island and enjoyed many of the local spots. However, I was really surprised that this rental had so many 5-star reviews. We encountered a serious bug infestation problem during our stay. We lost count of the number of cockroaches and palmetto bugs that we killed in the home while there. They were everywhere and made us feel truly uncomfortable. I did communicate the problem to the rental manager and they did send out a pest control company to spray the home while we were there. But this problem was evasive and we continued to kill cockroaches every day throughout the remainder of our stay. We live in South Carolina so we are well aware that you must stay ahead of the bug problem. Unfortunately this rental has not. I hate to leave a negative review but I truly wish that I had known this prior to spending so much on a family vacation to find a bug infested home.

Great beach house

Excellent location. Back porch with view of the beach. Master bedroom has a super comfortable bed. Included use of Melrose pools - kids loved them. At low tide the water goes out forever!!! Only would like locks on interior doors and softer beds in second bedroom. Great place for watching wildlife - herons, armadillos, lizards, tree frogs, & deer. Took golf carts to Bloody Point beach several days. Absolutely beautiful beach with spots where the leatherback turtles lay eggs at night. (Egg sites are marked off to protect them). Kids loved the waves. Both beaches have super soft sand. House had sand toys, beach chairs, grill & beach umbrella. On island over Memorial Day weekend and still adults could be in the waves and so few people on the beach you can keep track of kids playing in the sand. Great stars because no lights allowed on beach at night. If you have young kids pack most of your food because restaurants on the island have slow service. Absolutely love the island!!!

Paradisde in nature

We loved our stay on Daufuskie so much! I wanted a real get-a-way close to nature but with all the comfort and amenities. I was not disappointed. The beauty of the island is amazing and peaceful. The cottage was as lovely as it could be! The view out from the cottage was so beautiful! Saw deer, an other worldly pond with an island full of Wood Storks, Egrets an their nests and the quite different Grey Fox Squirrel that is native there. Restaurants were good. Recommend you book a boat over that has enclosure, a larger ferry type boat. We did not do so and had a very rough, wet ride over due to windy day. Also had to leave a day early due to thunderstorms expected for all the next day and boat we reserved would have been unable to come get us. I used to go camping on Cumberland Island in my youth and hoped this would be similar but with rental property. It was wonderful!
