Very good budget Hotel in a very busy area

I have stayed here before,it's in a very very busy area but is good,clean and affordable accommodation. Food is quite poor and expensive.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, the room we had was a bit worn off, but the view from the balcony was great. Also the café on the 10th floor is worth a visit. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the food for dinner.

All 3 of the rooms we booked had cockroaches in them. They were in a poor state of repair, and were generally unclean. Would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Faites gaffe !

Chambre correct MAIS ne vous attendez pas à avoir un temps de calme pour vous reposer car l’hôtel est tres mal placé, en plein centre ville, il y a énormément de bruits beaucoup de circulation, on est venu pour une semaine avec notre bébé de 4mois, nous avons fait qu’un seul jour et on parti car trop bruyant , pas de place pour se garer. Extérieur pas comme sur les photos, pas d’eau chaude bebe n’a pas pu prendre sa douche l’eau était vraiment froide.

located in the middle of the always busy city... my first place to stay in Dar and or Tanzania for that matter.... loved it would not have traded the experience for any other place.

Do Not Stay at This Hotel

I would not stay at this hotel ever again. First they forgot to pick us up at the airport in the early morning. The staff were sleeping in the dark when we finally arrived in a taxi. There is no hot water. In three days there was not a drop. The restaurant is closed and so you have to find another in the neighborhood. Breakfast was only ok certainly not what you would expect. The area is so noisy. A loudspeaker from the mosque blares into your room at 4:45 a.m. - you won't sleep.

In a very congested part of Dar es salaam town... Was very difficult finding it even with a local. I did not have warm water to shower as they rely on a solar heating system and it had rained that day. I was given a bucket of warm water instead which was a good gesture but they need to work on alternative electricity sources for rainy days.

Shocking. No hot water and a disaster really. We had a cold shower and made our way to the airport. The floor at the airport was better than staying in that dingy place. Stay away.

Stay away! Run and never look back!

First and foremost.. No hot water for your bathroom! Totally unacceptable for any hotel in any part of the world. Explanation of the management: "solar power". The hot water is only available when it can be heated by Sun, In other cases, they are happy to boil the water for you and deliver it to your room in a bucket. Really!?!? No, No! Hot water is not available at all in any case regardless the type of power used to make it hot and boiling the water must be a real significant saving... Sure it is as I don't see any guest going for that service.. Fungus and mold growing on the walls. Immediate heath risk to any guest! Wi-Fi... Boy... I can only hope none of the guest will have more than sending a text email without attachments. Wi-Fi is almost unexciting. Sure, you will get a display of full range bars, but there is no internet signal in the router network. On side restaurant serving Chinese food. One of the most awful I have ever tested. Kitchen smells overpowering the ambient of this hotel. Street noise not allowing for a good night sleep. Stay away! There are other options available. Don't get yourself lured in by the price. This establishment is far below any acceptable standards in any country. It really blows my mind thinking how they possibly can so many good reviews and such good rating (4 out of 5 at the time of the review).

Helt okej hotell för en natt eller två. Nästan bara asiatiskt mat. Området hotellet ligger i är någon form av marknadsområde, tycker man konstant om mycket folk är detta området men vi blev ofta varnade om att området kanske inte är det bästa för turister då det fanns mycket ficktjuvar och man blir ganska påhoppad av många som vill att man ska köpa saker av dem. Att bestämt bara gå rakt fram gungar ganska bra som skydd. Personalen var trevlig.

Stayed here one night while in transit thru Dar. Hotel is about 25 mins from airport with late night traffic, an hour away during rush hour. Room was clean and safe. Nice Chinese breakfast included (hotel caters to Chinese business people). Staff were very nice and helpful. Only complaint is that neighborhood was very noisy and hotel was not at all soundproof.
