The hotel was fine, the staff were ok, although no one could speak English in a hotel serving primarily foreigners. There appeared to be more staff than guests. The location is close to the beach, but the area is poorly served by restaurants, other than seafood restaurants catering to locals. Most decent restaurants are on the other side of the Han River, a short cab ride away (50,000-8000 dong).
Luckily Golden Sea 3 has a large breakfast buffet, which is a true marvel. Marvelous only in that it's hard to believe they could provide so many 'foods' that taste so bad. The 'coffee' was like road tar. The 'juice' was made with tap water. The various other items look like they were around at the turn of the century (19th or 20th depending upon the item). We noticed the staff, who ate from the buffet, always fried the 'meats' before they ate them. A wise move!
Take pictures to show your friends, will make for great stories, but for god's sake, do not eat this food!
