Hotel Victoria was lovely and in an excellent location. It was spotless and the service at the hotel and restaurant was superb. We enjoyed using the upstairs sitting area outside of our room and the view from the balcony was fabulous. The only reason we did not give Hotel Victoria at the highest rating for comfort as the bed was a bit hard for our preference.

The service is top-notch, especially all of the front desk staff. The amenities and room are comfortable and on the nicer side for Ecuador hotels, wonderful breakfast and bar area with established staff. Beds can be firm everywhere in Ecuador so don't hold this against the property because the pillows are great; as well, there is noise if on the street side (because it's so convenient for old town walking naturally), but it quiets down by about 10pm so it's acceptable if you want a larger family suite, and the convenience of being so close to the riverwalk and the main city attractions/walkable, which is key. Everything overall was so wonderful that we would definitely come back for a future stay.

This property needs to update their wifi. It was sketchy at best. Hard to maintain a good signal. Also the bedding, pillows and matress were hard as a rock. The rooms need a update.

Las personas que trabajan en la recepción y en el restaurante son excepcionales en todo sentido. El hotel es precioso, súper cómodo y bonito. La ubicación es a la vez excelente y mala. Excelente porque está en pleno centro y se puede caminar desde ahí a todas partes pero, también es una calle con bares y discotecas. El ruido en las noches es difícil de soportar.

All the staff was wonderful, starting with Victor and Flavio at the reception, Robert in the dining room, and the cleaning crew who’s name I didn’t catch. We arrived late evening with our child sick from the flight to Cuenca. Victor helped send an excellent tea to help with the nausea and stomach issues as well as a soup and drink for the parent who stayed in the room and couldn’t go out for dinner. Great hotel, comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. It felt just like being home. Right next to the Remigio Crespo Toral Museum and the Historical Center.

Loved the location...an easy walk to parks,restaurants, transportation, and shopping. It was a charming, well-maintained hotel and the included breakfast was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. I honestly cannot think of a single area in which improvement would be recommended.

The property has a great location, just above the river that traverses the city and within walking distance of the historic core of Cuenca. The breakfast served in the restaurant is outstanding. The staff was very helpful in setting up our day trips to Ingapirca and the Parque Nacional Cajas, as well as arranging our transportation to Saraguay. My only criticism is that there are few hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes while bathing.
