"It didn’t live up to the usual Hilton standards. The room was booked for two people, but only one pair of slippers was provided. There was a hair in the bathroom sink and stains on the carpet. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. As we were very tired and only staying for one night, we didn’t contact the hotel. Although the room’s size and appearance were different from the photos shown when we booked, the view was quite nice."

"Like Lake Dunstan for the care the owners put into guests, putting the covers over vehicle windscreens if it’s a frosty night, the expresso coffee available onsite, perfect start to day or prior to long drive ahead, the amigos and Carrick winery plug, plunger coffee in the motel rooms, friendly and welcoming"

"The room was clean and very quaint! The owners were very nice and gave interesting insight into the wine making process in the valley. They made us feel right at home, and even gave us a few pieces of amazing fruit they had picked that day! The tasting they offer is a must-try; they’re doing things with wine nobody else is, and it works! The hot pools are also a fantastic way to relax after a long hike! The glass room in the olive grove feels like a portal directly to the Tuscan countryside!"
