This stunning contemporary home sits on 5.29 acres in the aspens overlooking Crested Butte and the Slate River Valley. Its southwestern exposure provides sun filled rooms and breathtaking views. Its location is perfectly placed for easy access to the slopes and town. The main floor, with its expansive deck, has an open living area with tile floor and barrel vault ceiling, builtin media center, gas fireplace, and a high-end kitchen. The master suite on this main floor has a Toto air tub, shower, large walkin closet, and access to a deck with hot tub. A second level has two junior suites, a bunkroom and a large family room and outdoor deck. The third level has 3 Master suites all with their own full bathrooms. This unique 5000sf custom home has 7 bedrooms and 7.5 bath rooms sleeping up to 16 comfortably. Additional features include lots of closet space, a large 2car garage, gas infloor heat, a 10kw auxiliary power generator, and a monitored security system. There are 2 garage and 4 outdoor spots on driveway

The house was a perfect set for 4 couples, two with small children. We seldom go out in the evening so the kitchen was great for staying in and cooking. Transportation was available which made it easy to get to the mountain. We have made this trip as family/friends since our adult children were small from Beaver Creek to Taos to CB so we have high expectations and this house was perfect

Exceptional house and location!

Loved staying at this house. It was the perfect size for our extended family of 12. Something for everyone! Well stocked, great location, exceptional view!! We have stayed at quite a few houses around Colorado and this was definitely our favorite!!

Amazing Place

The house is even better than described. We had 8 adults and 7 kids and we had plenty of room. The location is incredible just a few minutes from the mountain and the town. The house manger, Mark, is very accommodating and was able to transport us around town. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing for a Large Group

4 Peakview was an amazing spot for our group of 7. It's perfect for large groups with everyone getting their own room and bathroom. I can't recommend the spot enough. Matt was very responsive and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again.

Lifetime experience

Staying at this property feels like a once in a lifetime opportunity- breathtaking views, wildlife spotting, tucked high in the aspens, convenient access to all CB has to offer, and everything a group or family needs for an incredible stay.

CB Winter Stay

The property is quite special. The great room, kitchen amenities, guest rooms are very nice and create a warm and inviting stay. Location - conveniently located between "town" and the mountain, and the view is spectacular. The House Manager was professional and responsive to our needs and any minor fixes. Five Stars on all points.

Just as Described

Guys ski trip over Presidents Day weekend with my teenage son and a few adult guys. House is beautiful and huge! Views are expansive of mountains - 240 degrees views.Its less than a mile to the slopes and a few miles to middle of town. Communication is excellent with owner and local house manager. Recommend.

Absolutely perfect

The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had a group of 15 people, everyone had plenty of space. The rooms are perfect. Hot tub was incredible, and we even had a fox roaming around the front and back on multiple days. The views are wonderful, and communication with Matt and Mark was fast, easy, etc.

Great House

Guys ski trip loved this house. 7 bedrooms with two hangout areas, both with great views of the the city and mountains. Great well stocked kitchen. The location is convenient to skiing and the city but you need a car. Hot tub is a bit small for the house. Only fits three. Mark and Matt were very helpful and Mark will take you anywhere for $ in his 4 wheel drive van.

Incredible views!

We loved this property. Amazing location right under Mt CB with incredible views of the valley. We loved being able to ride our bikes to the trails from the house, and the home easily & comfortably accommodated our group of 12 with everyone getting their own bed and each room having its own bathroom.

Pristine Property ~ Perfect for Large Groups!

We had a large family group and this property had every detail carefully thought through...almost every room had their own temp control, kitchen was fully stocked so we didn't have to worry about stocking up on smaller necessities (coffee filters, salt, etc). The house was laid out great and the communication with the owner as well as the house manager was always quick and effortless. Location was superb....minutes to skiing, eating out in town or to the nearest sledding hill. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

Annual Ski Trip

Excellent spot for my group of 9 friends for our annual ski trip. The house is perfectly located between the base of the mountain and the town of Crested Butte. The house was extremely clean and well taken care of, check-in process could not have been easier, and the communication with the owner and house manager was instant and easy. An added benefit was being able to utilize the services of the house manager to shuttle us into and back from town for dinners in a van that was more than large enough to accommodate our group. Highly recommend this house.

Great stay

We held an intimate family wedding in CB and the whole family (13 of us) stayed at the house. It was a fantastic stay, perfect for entertaining- the living room and deck are great areas to hang and enjoy each other’s company. Plenty of space and bedrooms for everyone. We hired a private chef for dinner (Garlic Mike, based in Gunnison, highly recommend!!) who has hosted dinners at this location before so he knows that he kitchen, etc. It was a homerun. The owners were very responsive and have someone local that can respond to any issues. Overall great experience, great stay, fantastic location and property, highly recommend for a party of 13-20

Amazing Trip!

We spent 7 days at The Outlook and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. The location was perfect with a very short drive to the base of the mountain and downtown. The house provided every amenity our group was looking for with an added bonus - Mark, our driver and guide for all things Crested Butte. I would strongly recommend booking Mark's services along with the house. He provided easy and reliable transportation to and from the Gunnison airport, dropped us off and picked us up at the mountain everyday (sometimes more than once), and was our driver and guide when we wanted to go in to town. We won't hesitate to book The Overlook again and will make sure that Mark's services our part of the package!

Big, spacious, clean, beautiful house.

This house exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of room for all of us. My 2 teenagers stayed on the 3rd level and didn't leave their rooms. They enjoyed their privacy with their gaming consoles. Everyone had their own personal space along with TV and full bathrooms. The kitchen was big enough for us to all pitch in and cook a meal together. This house has a great view overlooking the small town of Crested Buttes. This house did not disappoint! Definitely recommend. Beds were comfy, blankets felt like they hugged you, tv has surround sound, there are thermostats on every floor and in almost every room. Most of all the owner, Matt, stayed in contact with us during our stay, he was very helpful, courteous and very friendly.
