Excellent Holiday

This was over second stay at this property and won't be our last. Perfect for family holidays, very relaxing and well equipped base to enjoy the local region or just chill by the pool!

Wonderful Traditional Homes – Perfect for FamiliesWe had a fantastic stay in these beautiful, historic houses. Traveling as two families, the setup with two separate homes was ideal and allowed us to divide space perfectly. The houses are full of charm and tradition, offering a unique and authentic experience.The location is excellent—quiet and private, yet close enough to explore the surrounding area. Everything we needed for daily life was nearby, but having a car is absolutely essential.While the houses show some signs of age and could benefit from a bit of investment, they were very well equipped. Everything we needed was available, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay.The pool was exceptional and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with a touch of history and character.

Een waar paradijs ; locatie met een weerzinwekkend Panorama , ideaal voor een groot gezin van 12 personen , een prachtig huis , ingericht met heel veel smaak en uitgerust met huishoudapparaten en alles wat je nodig hebt om heerlijk te tafelen . Zwembad is top !

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil

Wir hatten mit zwei Familien einen großartigen Aufenthalt in den beiden Häusern und dem großen Pool. Das weitläufige Anwesen in ruhiger Lage nicht weit weg von der Dordogne und tollen Ausflugszielen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Fabulous Holiday

We were a party of 10, including grandparents and young adults. The living accommodation was perfect for our size of party with plenty of shared space to be together and also quieter areas when required, within the houses and outside in the gardens. The countryside views are lovely, with buzzards flying high overhead to deer walking thru the grounds. We were blessed with fabulous weather and when it got a bit too hot we could spend extra time in the fabulous pool. Marc and his wife where lovely hosts, helping us to settle in on our first day and then visiting again at the end to check that everything had been to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to enjoy a family gathering in the beautiful Dordogne!

Why we had a nice holliday.

In a beautifull location with a magnificient view of a wide valley, the two houses allowed us to spend a superb vacation. It is both a quiet environment yet not too isolated. The wide property allowed each of us to spend time in a location he relished reading in the shade of a tree, cooling off in the swimming pool, toasting in the sun!!! The kitchen extremely well equipped allowed us to show all our cooking tallents,each in turn. Each bed room has its own charm and character . When we were there we had a rainy day but the sitting rooms allowed our large crowd to split for various activities. From La Carière we visited a number of very interesting places from prehistoric milestones to Roman churches the place provided us with all acticities we dreamed of. We spent a beautifull holiday there and plan on returning.
