Would stay again!

Loved the location! It was perfect for a family of 4 and could accommodate more! My only wish was that we could have watched kids fishing from the balcony…the balcony overlooked the pool which probably would be great for the summer but could not see kids while fishing…but not a deal breaker, would stay again!

Great Location

Nice condo close to everything. Clean and roomy. Lots of construction and workmen around all day. There was a problem upon arrival, the staff worked with us and got it resolved, very helpful. Location was great!

WE ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, EVERYTHING WAS AS THEY DESCRIBE IT, CONDO VERY CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE, AND ALL YOU MIGHT NEED AT A VERY SHORT DISTANCE, WE HAD A GREAT TIME !!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very well maintained, clean 2bd 2 bath condo with a boat slip. We had a great weekend for a birthday celebration and lots of fishing! Boat dock was just renovated. Only downside, to no fault of this rental owner, was construction on the street and access was detoured due to construction and hard to juggle with boat trailer. No parking for oversized vehicles.

Good pool and water access. overall a very good place. Except when we checked in on saturday. The room we had was right above the pool. people were playing music and being very loud(all day and into the night). I went and talked to the last group at 10:30 pm and told them we were fishing at 5 am and needed to sleep.The rest of the stay was quiet and peaceful. If I was to do it again I would ask for a different room.

Great spot

We enjoyed this stay a lot. There are some games and books. We enjoyed playing scrabble. It’s very close to whitecap beach and mustang island state park. There is some construction down the street but it did not impact us at all. The only downside to the condo is the showers. They really need to be updated. The shower curtain is not long enough and the rings fall off. My youngest was scared of slipping as there is no grip. There is no lighting in the shower or from the outside that could help. It wouldn’t keep me from coming back.

Very nice place

We loved this place. We came with 6 people. 4 adults, and 1 teenager/1 kid. The beds were very nice, but I recommend the place replace the futon bed. The bottom of their is broken, and only one kid could sleep on it in a weird direction, and not comfortable. We actually brought an extra roll away bed just in case the futon was not big enough for both the kids. I called and let the Padres Escapes people know, and they did not offer a solution or additional bed. So we made do with what we had. We put pillows up under the futon to help a little. The only problem was one pillow got caught up in the hinges and tore. I can not seem to find a place to email Padre Escapes with this. But the place was clean and comfortable otherwise, and the location was great! The residences that live there are not happy that it is a vacation rental location, and they will voice it. But just be nice and respectful and they are all friendly. The wifi did not work while we were there, I let Padre Escapes know, but no one came to fix. Not a big deal, again, we brought our own so it worked out for movies and the news we watched. The place was great. The maintenance man, CJ, was fast to communicate and came to take pictures of the bed. Bring your own seasonings, which they do mention in their description. And bring your fishing items for the great deck/fishing area! Thank you for opening up your place to my family for this stay/getaway to one of our favorite towns in Texas.
