「It's a little too easy for bugs to get in but communication with the owner is quick and he listens. He will fix the gaps around the doors to cut down on the bugs.」

「we were on a mission trip and as a consequence got extremely dirty. Our kitchen and accommodations were clean, comfortable and convenient. The host and manager were wonderful.」

「Our room was beautiful and Stephen was helpful. He had breakfast for us each morning. This is a nice place to go if you like a secluded vacation. We felt it was a bit secluded though. Nothing really in the surrounding area for hours by boat or car. The beach at the resort is nice and does have kayaks to borrow. There is one rustic beachfront bar/ restaurant. Not fancy, but will fulfill your needs. We were a little disappointed with all the dogs, lack of fresh drinking water and rule to not use...

「It was all a terrible experience the hotel is located in the free zone which means it's on border of Mexico and very dangerous to be. No jurisdiction or if there was a problem you would not be covered....Very upset they did not state this of Hotel,com to let people know the situation and if they wanted to be in a unstable place.... 」

「Todo bien, en mi opinion le pondría otra puerta que sea acceso directo al hotel y no entrar directo al casino con tus maletas, almohadas, compras, solo eso fue un poco incomodo. El hotel en general es bueno y la gente atenta, no lo vi inseguro por estar en free zone , solo mantenerse dentro y pasar un rato agradable. 」

「VRBO impressed us. Easy to use, their site’s pictures, descriptions, & reviews were great. Feedback goes directly to VRBO & helps maintain accountability. In spite of our many changes mostly precipitated by the airlines, our homeowner was remarkably accommodating. Disrupted Christmas travel plans delayed our arrival a week, half of our planned Belize time. Their home is about 90 miles north, an interesting 3 1/2 hour drive. Roads were good, but lots of construction extended our travel...
