*New Listing* Welcome to TERRAPIN POINT an Oceanside vacation rental with no stairs to climb, located in the newly built Beacon Quarters community in the popular area of Corolla Light with access to Whalehead Beach.
TERRAPIN POINT is fully furnished with high end beach decor and finishes, with an open concept living room / kitchen and vaulted ceilings throughout to provide a spacious feel and room for all. Community Pool steps from your door open May-Oct. dates tbd
The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, sparkling quartz countertops, and a grand island to seat 6. Grab your morning cup of joe with an easy to use Keurig, relax on the front patio and enjoy the fresh air, cook on your private gas grill, while the children run around the large grassy field, and rinse off after a day at the beach with your private outdoor shower.

The 2 Queen bedrooms come with vaulted ceilings, closet, dresser storage and Smart TVs. Master Bedroom 1 has an Ensuite Bathroom with sparkling quartz countertops and a large standup tiled shower. Master Bedroom 2 has a full length mirror, a private entry to the 2nd full Bathroom with Shower/Tub Combo and Sparkling Quartz Countertop, this bathroom also provides access from the main living space.

Relax after a long day at the beach in the highly appointed living room, with a large flat screen smart tv with Spectrum Cable. The sofa folds out to a queen bed for your extra guests. High Speed internet/wifi is provided for your family to enjoy.

Private full size washer and dryer located in the hallway closet.

Upgraded luxury bed linens with beds made, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths provided.

The Condo was very clean and comfortable with great amenities. We loved that each room had lots of hangers and extra pillows and blankets. The instructions were very easy to follow and the host left great recommendations for just about any category of activity we could think of. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in staying in the northern shores region of the Outer Banks.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The unit was in excellent condition with a well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and furniture decor very beautiful. Our stay was great except for the weather. It rained and was extremely windy our ENTIRE stay. So disappointing.

Good Property, but Host Was a Major Problem

The host was overly communicative — I got about seven messages before we even showed up, but despite all that, three different messages included the wrong access codes. After a five-hour drive, we just wanted to get inside and use the restroom, but we were locked out.We messaged the host multiple times, called the property manager, even contacted VRBO — no luck reaching anyone. We had to go to a nearby park just to use the bathroom and pass the time until someone could come help. The code had simply been transposed wrong.The host apologized and offered an extra night free, but our schedule didn't allow it. (We had already paid for the day before our original stay but couldn’t use it, so honestly, a refund would have made much more sense.)The next morning, the host offered to drop off pastries. I didn’t respond — I was trying to focus on making memories with my kids. But when we got back later that day, they had entered the unit without permission to leave the pastries on the counter. That’s a major violation of VRBO’s terms.Also, the listing mentioned a pool and hot tub — but the pool was closed and there was no hot tub. The volleyball court didn’t even have a net.Property itself was fine — great location, beds were very firm — but because of the mismanagement and boundary issues, I wouldn’t rent this unit again.

Wonderful new cottage

Perfectly new cottage that was very clean and well stocked. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms were great. Good location as it's a few minute walk to the beach. Host was very communicative and left thorough instructions (both before the visit and at the house). Would definitely recommend and stay again.
