Great Experience!
This was our first time staying in Corolla. The town is smaller than Nags Head, where we typically stay; but has all the same to offer in the way of shopping and dining. The place is well suited for dogs, and the heated pool was great for the month of May, where the weather can still be cool. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with nearly every utensil you can think of for the vacationers who prefer to cook. We enjoyed being close to the 4x4 beach access point at the end of route 12 , where we went wild horse watching. The only concern I would have are for those who drive vehicles that are low to the ground. The driveway is a bit steep and I noticed some vehicles must have bottomed out getting in and out there as I saw some marks out on the street. I have a truck, so that was no problem for me. To top off the stay, we received a delivered gift bag with some goodies from the Jones's. That was unexpected and made us feel welcomed. Nice touch! Overall, this is probably one of the best experiences my wife and I have had staying in the Outer Banks.I will keep this particular location in mind next year when I come back out for vacation. Awesome location and a great Host!
