  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. This was a wonderful, clean rental for the week. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions that I had. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need in your own home. The bed was comfortable, and the heat worked perfectly when it was freezing outside! I chose this location because my daughter goes to CCAD and it was important to be close to downtown. It’s also extremely convenient to Ohio State and the local freeways. I would stay here again definitely!

We loved our stay and even enjoyed the pool. It was very convenient to Ohio State University. After the game we walked back to the property from the stadium. It was a long walk but beat sitting in traffic!
