City Permit A-STRP-26-0236 This charming early 1900's home is just steps away to parks and hiking trails, local tourist attractions (Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, etc.), local galleries, museums, bars & restaurants. You’ll love our place because of the comfortable no-pressure mattresses (Purple), the coziness of the layout, modern/western charm, and the fully stocked kitchen. Our home is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, outdoor & cuisine enthusiasts, business travelers, and families (with kids). We accept well-behaved dogs only (no cats or other animals) max 50lbs each, limited to 2 dogs. If traveling with dogs, must agree to house rules IN ADDITION to: 1) No dogs on furniture 2) No dogs left alone in the property unless kenneled, and 3) MUST pick up after dogs in the yard. Please check "pets" when booking to apply the fee-per-stay of $85. The detached garage in the rear of the home is used for private personal storage and is currently leased to another tenant separately; a privacy fence has been added for additional guest privacy.

For consistency, the policies, terms, and conditions listed in the Rental Agreement shall prevail and supersede any other policies, terms, and conditions described on the listing/booking platform that you initially inquired and/or booked this property. ► The house is family-friendly but not child-proof. Children must be watched by a capable adult at all times. ► The house does not have a daily cleaning service like at hotels. You'll be provided with towels and linens. There is a washer/dryer available. ❕Only a STARTER set of select products (trash bags, soap, paper towels, and toilet paper) is supplied. You may need to purchase additional quantities for your stay. ► The house is in a urban wildland interface area that is considered in the "city" but we can have deer, bears, mice, and other wildlife on the property. As such, it is possible to get 4-6-8 (or more) legged, winged, or crawling visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented even with regular monthly pest control. ► Never leave food items in the vehicles, and never leave food, food leftovers, or trash outside. Lock the house doors/windows AND your vehicle doors/windows when leaving even for a short time. Any garbage should be bagged and placed in the containers provided. ► No refunds will be given for weather/power/internet outages, change of plans, or life events. Consider appropriate TRAVEL INSURANCE. (Refunds will be processed accordingly if the reservation is canceled within the cancelation policy window) ► Wi-Fi: Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for your convenience. Log-in information can be found inside the house binder or via email. ► Rates may differ on different platforms and are updated dynamically. Any sales, discounts, and specials are not retroactive and apply to new reservations only. ► NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. ► NO SMOKING (tobacco or ANY other substance), NO VAPING. ► DOGS ONLY. Must adhere to house rules for pets (no dogs on furniture, dogs may not be left in the house without being kenneled, guests must pick up after the dogs in the yard - bags are provided near the back door). ► QUIET HOURS are between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM; please be respectful of our neighbors. ► NO OCCUPANCY ABOVE STATED LIMIT (5 total, with NO MORE than 5 adults). ► Third-party amenities, such as electricity, water, TV programming, and internet are beyond Owners' control. In the event of a service interruption beyond our control, Guests agree that they are not entitled to, nor will seek compensation of any kind, including partial or complete refunds for any such interruption. ► MUST be 21 or older to book, and sign the Rental Agreement (which will be sent after the booking is accepted) within 48 hours of booking. ► Guests are required to inspect the house within 1 hour of check-in to ensure everything is in order. If there are any questions, concerns, or issues, guests must contact the owners immediately. Failure to report issues upon arrival may result in the guests being held responsible. All guest concerns and/or complaints should be submitted in writing, either by text/platform message or email, before departure, giving the owners adequate time to document and address the issue.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It is very walkable to town with great restaurants, shops and bars. It is also a very short drive to all the locations - Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods and other towns to explore like Manitou Springs. The house had everything we needed and we loved hanging out with our dogs in the fenced in yard. We were all very comfortable here and I would stay here again the next time we visit this area.
Our stay at the house was great, shopping was close by and always a good time. The pet areas were very nice as usual. The hosts were great and available. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was great. Always nice staying there.

Great property in Old Colorado City. Easily walkable to the main shopping/entertainment/dining district. Property was clean and exactly as described. Off street parking was a huge benefit. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in early which permitted us to enjoy the area after unpacking.
Stayed with daughter who is moving to Colorado Springs while helping her look for home. Location was great our house hunting. House exactly as stated!!
It was nice to stay here because there were two bedrooms so we could have one room and 13 yr old granddaughter have the other. Great location for all of the fun things to do in and around Colorado Springs.
Very nice and clean house Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to old Colorado City. Lots of neat little shops and restaurants. Also close to several attractions.
This updated house had everything we needed in it. The house was clean and cozy. Check in and out was easy and John and Beth helped answer questions we had about nearby grocery stores and restaurants. So close to all the places we wanted to visit! Would totally stay here again!
This house is located near many of the areas attractions - Pikes Peak, Manitou Cliff Dwellers, and Garden of the Gods, to name a few. Nice older home, but only one bathroom. Would definitely consider staying here again.
Our stay was lovely in Old Colorado Springs. Great location, close to nearly everything. The house is a lovely 2 bedroom 1 great bathroom. Backyard is great for Barbecues. Hopefully we can return to your house the next time we come out.
This cute house was absolutely perfect in every way! Enjoyed walking to Old Colorado City’s downtown. The outside patio in the back of the house was so relaxing. Quiet little neighborhood. The checkin was without a hitch and each time I reached out to the owners, (before and during) our stay they responded quickly.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was cute, clean and well stocked. Great location. It was perfect for everything we were doing (within 15 minutes of virtually everything) and a very short walk to so many things in Old Colorado City. It has an awesome front porch. We spent a lot of time enjoying it in the early mornings and evenings. Beth & John communicated well with us while we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was wonderful! The towels, amenities, dishes, neighborhood, etc were perfect. If I had to find anything to mention as a flaw, it would be that it’s noisy/creaky. It is an older home with floating pergola flooring, so it does creak. This also causes the beds to be noisy when moving in them at night. Last would be the smell of dog. It hits you when you enter but it quickly leaves your senses. I am an animal lover. We too have 2 dogs, so we understand how that occurs. All in all it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it! The flaws are not a reason to steer clear. Great place and the owners do pay attention to all the details! Thank you!
We were fortunate enough to get to spend four months in this house, and we would gladly have stayed another four months! Everything about this property is 5-star: the beds are incredibly comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need; the tv is huge; the dining room is a great gathering spot; the layout is super comfortable. The neighborhood is the best for enjoying all that Old Colorado City offers — it’s a short walk to Bancroft Park, yet it’s very quiet and peaceful at the house. Our dog loved the yard. The hosts are fabulous— very responsive and super pleasant to deal with. There was literally nothing not to love about this house. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else if we come back to the Springs!
My husband and I recently had an awesome 7 night stay at this wonderful quaint home in OCC. The location is great, within minutes and walking distance to stroll the main streets of OCC, visit great restaurants, breweries, fly shops, etc. It's a great hub for day trips into the Mountains, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, Leadville, Breckenridge, Deckers, etc. Also, minutes to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, The Broadmoor, Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mtn Zoo and other great attractions in this beautiful area.
The hosts, John and Beth, were absolutely the best! There communication was great and really fast. I asked many questions and asked opinions on restaurants, grocery stores, etc. and they were happy to assist. Always very helpful and timely!
The home is very, very clean, we felt so right at home! Great kitchen with everything you need for cooking. We absolutely loved the front porch for evening drinks and morning coffee. A very, very quiet neighborhood with locals walking in the mornings and offering a friendly wave and Good Morning! The off street parking is very nice too. The beds were great, with Purple mattresses, we slept well.
A wonderful home to stay, we will definately be back, we truly enjoyed the home and highly recommend.
