First time in Kennebunk or Kennebunkport and we enjoyed exploring more than the beaches. "Nice place for family vacation. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Lots of nice amenities like bikes, kayaks, s’mores fires nightly, and access offsite to a river pool thing. And the swimming pool on site is very well maintained. The breakfast is very nice with dairy free and gluten-free options. But the blueberry cake takes the cake!"

"This was our second stay at the Colony this summer. My husband and I made a stop sans kids and decided to return with our kids after a lovely first stay. We loved that the main building did not have televisions naturally creating a great screen detox and had no issues with the room temperature despite no televisions. We did find it odd that on our second stay there was no handsoap provided, but it wasn't a big deal. The beach is lovely and calm and our kids had a blast fishing on the channel (the Kennebunkport Marina is walking distance and sells gear) and catching invasive green crabs. Lovely stay. Will surely return."
