The perfect holiday home to create a sanctuary with family and friends. Retreat from the ordinary and immerse yourself in the beauty of Barellen Beach House.

The name Barellen comes from the Aboriginal word, which means “the meeting of the waters.” For those who visit, it also represents the meeting point of friends and family. Barellen is simply a beautiful metaphor for all the gatherings and celebrations to come.

Barellen sits above Safety Beach, with sweeping views of the Solitary Islands Marine Park. The home is nestled at the beach end of a small neighbourhood enclave that escapes the area’s tourist traffic, leaving you with a nearly private beach experience. Protected by an offshore rocky outcrop, Barellen’s backyard is a tranquil beach setting with gently rolling waves. The home is ideally located to take advantage of multiple swimming options; the protected beach just steps from the back door, Darkum Creek with shallow waters perfect for learning to paddle-board, and Lake Woolgoolga. Rugged coastlines and epic surfing beaches are also just moments away. Or head out for a walk with the Solitary Islands Coastal walk right on your door step.

Sip your morning coffee on the private deck as the sun rises. Soak in the 2-person bath or stand forever in the wet room shower. Enjoy a nightcap on the deck to celebrate the end of a remarkable day and look forward to adventures tomorrow.

The kitchen is well supplied with all the utensils and kitchen items you need to prepare meals. Relax as you enjoy the stunning views from the terrace with generous lounge seating, daybeds and outdoor dining. Or pour yourself a glass of champagne before slipping into the heated spa and allow yourself to fully unwind.

The home is partially airconditioned, to keep you comfortable.Or enjoy the sea breezes.

Barellen is a short drive to Woolgoolga, approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Coffs Harbour and less than 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour Airport.

Luxury private beach access

This property had everything you need to make our stay special. Besides groceries needed to stock up you really don’t need to leave not even for dishwashing tablets, washing powder or glad wrap. They have everything. There’s fishing close by, a spa, beach. For a patrolled beach it’s a couple of klms down the road. You can swim near the property but shallow swimming for safety. There were 10 of us and felt like the property was so large that we didn’t even get in each other’s way. Extra lounge areas that even were not used. We would definitely come here again.
