We opted for twin beds and they weren’t very comfortable and the room was upstairs with no lift. The breakfast was very good.

We were running late for check in -Irish country roads Google maps on the blink - and the hotel kept the front door open for an extra hour. Outstanding dedication. Excellent full Irish breakfast too.

Good hotel for overnight stay whilst on the road for work. Room was small but very clean & has everything one needs. Hot shower with plenty of water pressure. Staff are super friendly and the free breakfast is great.

Did the job
Room was small for 2 people but as only staying for 1 night was adequate. Right price for the size of room. Breakfast was good, selection of cereal then a fry, more toast on request.

Friendly welcome. Due to previous customers some facilities were in a poor state. Explanation of dining options - no food available on site, but option to order in (or fetch from takeaway) and consume in Hotel Bar while having a pint.

You get what you pay for :-)
Fennessy's is an old hotel in need of some work...the cost of my stay was reflected in the price. It was cheap and cheerful. It certainly has character but it's not the Hilton. What it lacked in beauty it made up from the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was pretty decent. The staff are I thinking making the best of a very average situation. So I have no real complaints. The Hotel Manager is pretty cool. I liked her manner and nature. :-) Room was clean and comfortable but it's also difficult maintaining an aging building that hasn't had a 'touch-up' in quite a while. It wouldn't stop me booking again as I know what I'm getting.....some less endearing hostels actually cost more so I've no complaints about the price.

Small hotel in Clonmel city centre,close to all shops,bars and restaurants.Hotel itself is a little bit old but clean with nice servis.just to spend night or two,breakfast vas quite small but tasty and just enaugh to start a day and can't say any bad things about it or service.Room itself was ok,clean with tv ,kettle and hot water under shower just a little bit cold.

En junio reservamos una habitación con dos camas y lo cambiaron a una de matrimonio sin dar posibilidad de tener 2 camas. Ya estaba pagada y no podíamos dejarla. Era muy pequeña, encima de un pub con música altísima hasta la 1 decla madrugada. No había nadie a quien reclamar, solo la camarera del pub, que nos dio las llaves. Decepcionante la falta de formalidad. No volveré jamás
