The Alpine Vista is a one of a kind artist’s retreat. This 4 bedroom 3.5 bath Nakoma Resort home with unmatched PRIVACY and jaw-dropping views! Located in the lost Sierra’s most coveted golf resort community, this custom home offers fast WiFi, spacious bedrooms with comfy beds, 3 full bathrooms, and a warm and welcoming vibe. |The Community|

This unique resort home is framed by towering pines, hidden behind the private gates of Gold Mountain at Nakoma Resort. It is a dark sky community that is ideal for stargazing. Carefully situated on the serene canyon edge of the neighborhood overlooking the middle Fork feather river and the historic railroad. It is just a few blocks from the Nakoma hotel, the awe-inspiring Altitude Recreation Center, Nakoma’s 18 hole championship golf, and Frank Loyd Wright designed five star Restaurant 5044. Gold Mountain has private hiking and biking trails, a secret swimming hole, it is adjacent to the middle fork feather river, and totally surrounded by the beauty of nature.

|The Rooms|

The home has 4 newly redesigned bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 kings, 1 queen, 1 queen sofa sleeper, and 1 twin with two separate work spaces.

The west wing of the home has the master, an office with twin bed, and mud room with access to half bath.

|Master Retreat|

The luxurious master retreat has spectacular views of Mt Elwell, Mt Washington and the Feather River. It has a comfortable king sized bed, smart flatscreen TV with complementary Hulu as well as streaming capability! You’ll love the large master bathroom with modern, oversized soaking tub and giant bay window overlooking the forest. It also has a large walk-in shower, and spacious walk-in closet with washer and dryer, laundry hamper, luggage rack, and extra soft blankets to keep you extra cozy in the winter months.

The east wing of the home has a second master two other bedrooms with access to the large wrap around deck to enjoy the views of Smith Peak and the beauty of the Feather River, below.

|Second Master|

The additional master has a very comfortable King sized bed and a deck leading out to the sprawling deck. Rejuvenate with abundant light, exceptional views, and calming, earthy vibe. This room also has a sitting chair, luggage rack, laundry hamper and en suite bath with walk-in shower.

|Third Room|

This room offers a luxe Queen bed with lovely views, sitting chair, laundry hamper, luggage rack, and a shared bathroom with walk in shower.

|Fourth Room|

This room offers a queen pullout sofa sleeper with marvelous forest and canyon views. It also has a smart tv with complementary Hulu as well as streaming capability, luggage rack, laundry hamper, and a shared bath with walk in shower.

All bathrooms include a hair dryer, Q-tips, hair ties, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The laundry room is also fully stocked for ultimate convenience during your stay. It is located in the primary master suite.

Plumas County offers many exciting opportunities in all seasons from picnics to horseback riding, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking, to sledding/tubing, snowshoeing and ATV… stay on site and enjoy the resort amenities, or get out and go on an adventure! This area has so much to explore.

Nakoma also boasts numerous hiking and biking trails, quick access to Lakes Basin, Gold Lake, Long Lake, Lake Davis, Sardine Lake, Salmon Lake, the Middle Fork Feather River, and some of the best fishing in all of California! Downtown Graeagle, just 15 minutes away, has adorable shops, cafés, local art, and tasty restaurants as well as Mill Pond for recreational swimming, kayaking, and fishing.

Our guests have the option to include exclusive access to Altitude, Nakoma’s members only luxe recreation center featuring an indoor rock climbing wall, theater, heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, game rooms, Bistro + Bar, and more!

*Optional access to Altitude recreation center is $20 per person per day for the duration of your stay. Single day passes are not available per resort policy. Additional guests will require the purchase of an additional pass. Any unexpected guests may be turned away by the resort. Please be sure to book your resort passes in advance and sign the waiver to save hassle.

Quiet hours in the community are 8pm to 8am. NO SMOKING or fires of any kind are allowed anywhere in the community (HIGH FIRE DANGER). Please do not arrive early or stay late without express permission, fee may apply. Nakoma is a dark sky community so turn off exterior lights by 10pm and if you get the chance, enjoy some stargazing! Keep all pets on a leash at all times for their own safety, and please clean up after them per HOA guidelines. Thank you!
