"We were a family of 4 staying overnight before our flights the following day. It’s fine for somewhere to get your head down but nothing more. The place is dated and drab. The room smelt a bit when we first went in and the kids had to sleep on mattresses on the floor!! We could hear every footstep upstairs guests made which isn’t fun when you’re trying to get asleep after midnight. The door in the hall knocked with the wind so I could also hear that through the night. The breakfast option was okay if you are happy with a warmed up sausage and bacon bun. You can go next door and pay for breakfast in the restaurant. Like I say, it’s totally basic and okay if you just need anywhere to get your head down. If you don’t mind chipped walls and your kids sleeping on the floor then you will be fine! "

"We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. We were told that the heating would be turned on, but unfortunately the radiator remained cold throughout the entire night. As a result, the room never warmed up. Due to the lack of heating, we were extremely cold and unable to sleep so we packed up and left before 7am, having effectively been unable to make use of the accommodation. While the room itself was of good quality, the failure of the heating meant our stay fell well below a reasonable standard, and represents a disappointing service failure. This was raised with the property but they refused to acknowledge there was an issue. "

The quality of the food is excellent overall and the staff are very helpful. Coupe not fault the service. I did not give 5 stars because I would have dusted the bedroom better myself. Yes I am fussy, so I expect a hotel room to be as clean as my home when I pay for it. "

"This hotel is very cheap, so I didn't expect much. Free parking, but tight to get to behind hotel. Room was tired, in need of decoration. Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet. Can't complain for £47."

"The facilities were really good. The bed was so comfortable lovely hand and shower wash. Food was excellent so much choice for breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond when I left something behind in my room they safely packaged it for me to return. 5 star service. "

(-) paid extra for early check in, only to find the cleaner still there and we were unable to use any facilities until 4pm anyway. I also had to clean some of downstairs kitchen myself. I did the dishes and relined the bin, which I didn’t mind as the cleaner needed help however this is not something I should do having paid extra to check in early and and additional cleaning fee.I requested a refund for this and still haven’t been given an adequate response regarding this 2 months later! 1. The address was wrong.i got sent to someone’s house. key was not in the lockbox of the correct house. Cleaner provided spare key. 2. TV was broken in the front room.3. Leak in the upstairs toilet4. No toilet roll or kitchen roll or kitchen towels. We had to buy our own tissue roll and kitchen roll.5. Balloons left from previous parties6. In the middle of the night we were woken up by a group of people claiming they had booked the same bnb. We exchanged our booking confirmations, I tested out another key that was on our keyring and it worked. The cleaner had given me both keys. very unprofessional, unorganised and quite disturbing for us to be woken up in the middle of the night. Be wary booking any of these houses. "
