Very quiet time of the year, we were the only ones for a huge wonderful breakfast. Room was a bit chilly the first night, but came okay after being "lived in". The room had an emergency light up high which meant the room was not completely dark. Bed, shower etc all good. Good location. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation on our return to Clacton after 37 years!! Recommend the Esplanade Hotel to everyone.

We had an incredible time at this ultra lovely hotel !! The staff were incredible !! Such lovely people who give you a very warm welcome !! The food was extremely nice all served around the lovely scenery of clacton beach !! The room was bright and airy but lacked a little table in front of the settee to put your tea / coffee on !! That bed was so comfortable and spacious !! The parking was easy to find and i must say a massive thank you to Charlie who really went out of his way to get us to the comrades when we couldn't book a cab due to unavailability !! Thank you so much mate much appreciated !! We shall certainly be staying there again !! Kind regards mark and shazza star x
