Minutes from the cruise port and minutes from restaurants and the ocean strip. I was asked to reach out to let the staff know when I reached the property, and I had a question to ask them but I never did receive a reply. Otherwise, it was a perfect spot to stay the night before getting on your cruise!

The place doesn’t have staffs to welcome you in person, I had a hard time getting in contact with whoever is renting it when we got to the front door (you need a code to enter the main door and to get to the room). We waited for awhile then I called Expedia coz my reservation was thru them. Thankfully Expedia was able to contact the person who’s supposed to let us in. After fulfilling some requirements for the person renting the room, we were given the codes to get inside the building and to our room. I reserved the Junior Double Room for 1 nite before our cruise, room is good size for 2 people. Room and bathroom is clean, it has good A/C. Location is good, close to restaurants and stores. For a fee they can get you shuttle to the cruise port.

A excellent place to stay before heading off on a cruise. Beautiful room, excellent bathroom, very close to shopping and restaurants. We were driving and found a place to park but I understand valet is possible. This is very much in town but was very quiet and enjoyable. Breakfast was a plus.

The property manager went above and beyond! Loved this stay! Just coming off a 10 day cruise ship excursion this was the perfect ending. Civitavecchia is a beautiful coastal town with a calming and fun environment. The property was perfect! Short walk to shore and food and Gelato right below! Would definitely stay here again! Riviera Suites was exactly what we were looking for in Civitavecchia. We walked from the train station directly to the place. We dropped of bags and explored the neighborhoods around it - plenty of great restaurant options. Nice coffee and pastry supplied for breakfast. When we checked out and needed to get to the cruise port they even arranged for a private driver who got us right to the ship. Everything about this stay was perfect.

Location is great for cruise terminal. We had no idea how to check in. Fortunate we followed someone into the building and the cleaning staff answered door. We arrived early so happy we could leave luggage in room while we walked around The room was generally clean but there were several small ants on the desk.

A little confusing to begin with…rooms are in a building but you can’t get in without someone coming out. Once in, easy to find. AWESOME Staff gave us our pick of rooms, clean, location is amazing! Once you get checked-in and have the keys, you can come and go easily. There are a few steps before getting to the elevator. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

No communication from property and if there was then it was too late. This is not a hotel but a private residence! You need a code to get in the building and to the supposed “suites”. Phone calls were never answered, text messages or what’s app messages were answered hours or even a day later. Absolutely horrible and for them to charge me for not even being in the property once is horrible, glad I have travel insurance.

Very poor customer service in every aspect. The room and the location were pretty good. There was no staff at the location, which was expected, and the information on how to get into the room was good. The front door was bashed in and there was no lock on it. The inside door to the rooms area was always left open by the other tenants and it wasn't very secure. The staff do not answer questions and do not respond to anything. For instance, they insisted multiple time that this must be paid prior to arrival, so I requested a link to pay the city tax. I usually waited about 6 weeks for a response, if there was one. Even after paying they sent multiple messages requesting the payment of the city tax, and would not confirm that it was received. As well, I have a feather allergy and requested a feather free room three times, using their email, their Whatsapp, and the Expedia messaging system. They did not provide a response AT ALL. I arrived to a room with 3 feather pillows and when I contacted them their response was the equivalent to "We did not tell you it would be feather free." This resulted in me getting pretty ill. Had they responded that they could not provide feather free, I could have brought inflatable pillows to avoid me getting ill.
