"The overnight rate for the valet is $59, so don't be surprised like I was. Public parking is across the street, but I didn't want to use it at night. The valet called me three times at 7 a.m. to ask if I had the key to my car: I couldn't get to the phone quickly enough to answer the first two times. I had left the key with the valet, so the call was totally unnecessary and totally unwelcome at 7 a.m. The air conditioning unit went on and off every five minutes all night no matter what temperature I set it at. I was in Denver for a medical procedure and need my sleep more than usual, but was awake most of the night from the on-and-off a.c. I have never stayed at a Hyatt with one smaller and softer pillow than the others on the bed. It was like sleeping with a bed roll for a pillow. The location is downtown, so if you aren't used to traffic noise, you're unlikely to get a good night's sleep unless the a.c. is running constantly - not on and off at five-minute intervals. Won't stay there again."

"We have stayed at the Catbird many times! It is always our first choice when we go to Denver. The rooms are awesome. The location is fantastic."

"Very friendly front desk staff! Room was clean and comfortable! Walking distance to Union Station (about one mile). It was just my teen daughter and I and we felt very safe in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. We walked everywhere. Breakfast buffet $24.99 each but was not your normal hotel breakfast. It was quite delicious! And if you have a chance go to 5280 Burger Bar just next door and get the fried pickles! Would stay here again! "

"Breakfast was great and the best part of this hotel! It was nice that my family of 5 could be in one room. Not the best neighborhood surrounding this hotel. Hotel had several areas that weren’t the cleanest or well maintained. For example, the pool bottom was cracked, shower was dirty, bathroom faucet broken, and the beds were not comfortable. Couldn’t get extra towels in the morning due to Housekeeping not arriving until 9:30am. "

"The front desk needs to be watched better. Some horrible customer service. Miguel should be the highest paid person there. He was always helpful and with a smile to boot. The place is a cheap dump. Thin walls, no heat, no ventilation, gross dirty carpet, lumpy mattress, dirty window that doesn’t open, crappy breakfast with gross unwashed people wearing barely there pajamas in buffet and dining area. Their “market” is so poorly stocked. Not a bottle of water or. Diet Coke to be found. Really crummy location too."
