"No maps of the area to plan outings, old people need maps to plan not phones. The swimming pools need a good cleaning. food was excellent, staff very polite and helpful."
Nightcap at Golden Beach Tavern

"Check-in was fast and simple with the emailed form. The parking was just downstairs. The room was fresh and clean with cold bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge. The bed was comfortable. Great shower and cold aircon. The room was quiet at night. The pool was clean and deep and set within pleasant gardens with a barbecue area. A bottle shop was on site, and supermarkets are close by. The restaurant was terrific! The service was really good, and the seniors’ menu was delicious and didn’t break the bank. We ate there for the three nights of our stay, had a few drinks each night and walked next door to our room. We would definitely recommend this tavern and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. It had everything we needed."

"A hostel experience without the noise and parties. The room was comfortable and pretty quiet. Close to everything needed, especially with the Woolworths next door. A short walk to the beach and shops."

"Beautiful apartments in prime location. Minutes walk from the beach and opposite the Kawana ShoppingWorld Mall. Pool was lovely and had extensive opening hours. Room was very clean and had all necessary amenities included hairdryer and toiletries. I appreciated the free towels at reception for use at the pool/beach. Would highly reccomend."

"Absolutely clean rooms! Great family friendly facilities! And so close to the beautiful beaches. Breakfast was busy but yummy! Convenient location too with shops walking distance away. Staff is friendly. The only thing is age is starting to show with somethings in the room eg: edges of carpet lifting, dishwasher tray need replacing etc. Still great place to stay!"

"Overall excellent stay. Clean and comfy room, walking distance to everything. My only slight criticism is the same as many properties of this type: not enough towels, and the minuscule soaps. Suggestion: install liquid soap dispensers in the shower and at the sink. Nice touch: the Bluetooth speaker."
