「This place is absolutely paradise」

「My husband and I loved our corner room overlooking the Douro River. We enjoyed meeting other guests for delicious breakfasts. The owner, Marie, and staff were very helpful. The bedding and towels were dreamy. The drive up winding roads was a bit unnerving, but it was worth it to return to the Casa each afternoon. We avoided driving after dark. We didn't use the pool because it was cool outside. It was beautiful - and on a warmer day, I would have jumped right in. We highly recommend this...

「Property, location and staff were great with amazing views of the lake and neighboring vineyards. Its biggest flaw is the bedroom - sagging mattress and lumpy pillows made for a very umcomfortable sleep. I didnt have a restful sleep. The carpet in the bedroom can be updated.」

「We were looking forward to staying at this property but it turned out to be a disappointment. All of the staff is young and lacks professionalism and knowledge. They have a spa and two pools, but at check in the staff does not tell you about any of the amenities. We didn’t know there was an outdoor pool until the day before we left when we stumbled across it. The room and bathroom were clean, but sparse with poor lighting. The bed is very uncomfortable. The bar staff cannot tell you about...

「VEST!」

「Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night.」

「Gets everything right. Excellent The hotel was completely renovated in the spring of 2025 and feels brand new. We stayed two nights in late Sept. It has thought of every detail. This is how hotels should be designed. Lighting in the room that works easily; showers that are also easy to figure out (when are other hotels going to start doing this?); plenty of space in the bathroom to place things. Warm, natural colors and fine touches and nice details. The welcome drink was lovely. The staff...
