The hotel has a great location in downtown Evanston close to Northwestern University. You can walk to restaurants and bars, close to coffee shops, target and Whole Foods. Service is great and valet is $37 a day. Our room was great, remodeled and comfortable. Price is very affordable for the location.

first class service from the valet to the front desk. Was nice with the valet parking with in and out access. Rooms were clean and well stocked with all of our needs. Our second time there and will be back again soon..

Great location and friendly staff. However, there was only one elevator operating. This made it really time consuming to get up and down on the elevator.

Minor inconveniences but great walkable location

The hotel was nicer overall than i expected and the location was PERFECT. Would have appreciated more information on parking alternatives (we figured out our own) and then it was the little things—like no shampoo or hair dryer in the room and although we had booked for 3 person occupancy we only got 2 nice towels and 1 smaller rattier one unlike the other 2.

Overall great stay and the staff is very responsive. Would rate higher except that we ran out of toilet paper and even when the cleaned the room they did not replace. Also gym area ran out of water and towels on the first day, and still had not been replaced by the second day.

The service was quick, friendly and polite. One of the elevators was out of service. The bathroom fan in our room was not working. These were minor and were not too inconvenient. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was well-priced and we would stay here again.

The breakfast was great. Room was clean. However, the pool area had so much condensation that the ceilings were dripping water and saw the start of mold in a few corners. Will be a big issue very soon. I did alert the staff.

Some good some bad - at the price expected more

Staff was nice but not enough of them. Elevator not working. Bathrooms are comically small especially the SINK. Location was good. Room was dark and quiet. Good bed. Expected a little more for the price.

Hilton Orrington of Evanston was easy to find; it rained nearly the entire time and I was unable to explore surrounding areas. I never saw wood window shutters and that was really cool. The room was comfortable, staff were courteous, willing to assist with a special shout out to the night desk staff (Ms Sophie, hoping that is her name). Staying during the holiday was really special as the hotel went all out with decorating and it was not overdone. My stay was short and I opted not to be eco friendly so I did not ask for fresh linen but the staff were on the hall daily even on Sunday and that was important. I rated the hotel with 4 stars as I had very little interactions with the services in the evaluation but had no complaints.

The location is A , especially for NW parents visiting their students. The units are incredibly tired, and, I was actually surprised that the brand was still allowing the hotel in its system. The lobby and fitness area were fine and appear to have been more recently renovated. When I arrived in my unit, there were several large stains in the carpet. I was disgusted and shocked that housekeeping inspections allowed it to pass. When I raised it with the front desk, they said they were full but would move me the next day. Frankly, I would have been happy if they'd spot treated the carpet that night.
