My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this location. The accommodations were very nice. However, what really stuck out was the hotel staff, its the best that we have experienced.
We were in town for a wedding and are very happy we chose the Fairmont. We stayed in a renovated room/floor. The room was clean and comfortable, shower was amazing. All staff were pleasant and attentive, especially Tamara in the Gold Lounge. She is incredibly personable and treated my husband and I like old friends. Definitely would stay again.
The hotel was beautiful & the lounge access with the gold package is amazing! I had a great time. The staff was so welcoming. I loved my room so beautifully decorated & the bed was so comfortable.
Staff was excellent - very good customer service. Gold concierge staff were amazing. Delicious breakfast and afternoon canapés were delightful. Room very comfortable. Suggestions - I would like to see complimentary wine served with canapés as does other similar higher end hotels. Also, we couldn’t make it back for the evening dessert window. So I would have liked a chance to have it delivered to our room - that would have been a very nice touch.
Great stay at the Fairmont. The Gold experience was great. Food was good and the staff was super nice and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Bed super comfortable. Highly recommend.
The property was in a great location. Gold floor was worth every cent. Breakfast was fantastic, wine and hors d’oeuvres were very good. The whole four days was amazing. Staff couldn’t enough for us. One of the nicest lounges ever been in.
Stayed here for my birthday weekend and booked the gold experience. The service was impeccable and the experience was great. The extra snacks during the day was an added bonus.
It was amazing. The customer service in the gold lounge was immaculate from beginning to end. I’m a Chicagoan and literally felt as though I had an out of town/country experience.
After a work obligation, we stayed a few extra nights in Chicago and relocated to the Fairmont to be near Millennium Park. We upgraded to the Fairmont Gold Experience; the lounge amenities and staff were well worth it. The location was convenient and easily walkable. The room was spacious and quiet. The only two flaws were that there were only four smaller pillows for a king-sized bed. I wanted more pillows or pillows that were firmer and bigger. The other issue is that the toilet paper was of really low quality. Other than that, the concierge recommended a restaurant that was the best during our stay, and the staff were friendly and courteous.
Gold experience was great. Recently renovated room and floor was great. Two separate vanities in the bathroom was incredible. The included breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit, espresso, pastries, and a variety of hot options.
Hotel location is very good. About 10min walk to a number of subway stops. Very short walk to the Riverwalk, Magnificent Mile, and Millenium Park.
Negatives: the un-renovated floors definitely show their age, and a few ice makers on different floors weren't working. The hotel also charges $100 early check in fee if you check in before 4pm. While I understand this for very early check in (say before noon), checking in when the room is ready at 2 or 3pm seems unnecessary. Thankfully we were able to avoid this. Finally the "Urban Experience Fee" of $25 a day seems excessive but I guess this what most hotels are doing these days.
Overall: great time with the gold experience in a renovated room with friendly staff and great location. Would visit again.
This hotel was perfect in every way. Staff was amazing, rooms were clean, loved the views from our room. It was an overall really great experience.

Didn’t get the full gold experience and it was my birthday that wasn’t acknowledged. I checked in at the main floor I didn’t know there was a club floor private check in
