"First room we got was not clean, they then changed us to another room and the air conditioning didn’t work for 2 days, Couldn’t sleep! They then moved us to another room and gave us champagne and nuts as an apology. We still had to pay for the 2 night os torture."

"The hotel and the price are not aligned. The room is underwhelming and feels like solitary confinement. The shower didn’t drain properly so water collected and your feet were in a full tub of water. The time it took for the water to drain was several hours!!!! There is no closet to hang your clothes so prepare to have to iron. There isn’t any storage in the restroom or shelves for settling in with your personal items. The overall cost wasn’t a value, but instead we paid more than what we received. I am shocked it is a Marriott property and won’t make plans to stay with Aloft again."

"I chose a King size bed but upon arrival they said sorry we only have 2 doubles. They would not accommodate my original reservation. The omelettes station was very well run. We were on the 3rd floor facing State St & the noise level was off the charts. We were there Sat & Sun evening. It was the first warm weather & without rain for these people living in Chicago so that might be part of the reason. Fire trucks, ambulances, & cop car sirens every hour all night!"
