The cottage is close to all the amenities of Sheffield and Chesterfield but its rural location allows peace and tranquillity.

Immerse yourself in a home where modern comfort meets timeless charm, featuring spacious bedrooms, well-appointed interiors, and a welcoming ambiance that creates a perfect retreat. The cottage sits next to the owner's grade 2 listed former forge on 2 acres of garden with a large fenced and gated pond, which you are free to explore.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location

Lovely cottage perfect for our two night stay in Derbyshire (family of 4). Large master bedroom and twin bedroom ideal for our two boys (12 and 9). The garden and views across the countryside are fantastic. Location was ideal for visiting Bakewell and Chatsworth.

What a find! An absolute gem!

We had the most wonderful week at Barlow Grange. Magnificent weather on spectacular hikes in the Peak District, only to come back to the tranquil cottage, refresh with a dip in the pond, hours of reading on the deck and enjoying the stunning views. What a little oasis! Jo and Andy were fantastic hosts and we hope to come back next summer!

Beautiful Place

We really enjoyed our short weekend stay. The location, which was very close to Chatsowrth,. was fantastic, very peaceful and had spectacular views. Our children and our dog thoroughly enjoyed the huge garden. The cottage was very comfortable and recently refurbished had absolutely everything anybody would need. The hosts were very welcoming. I thoroughly recommend and will definitely try to return asap.
