The property had everything I needed to make it feel like a home from home. The location is excellent having easy access to the shops, the local park, the city wall and the train station. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Such a great little cottage to base yourself in! Spotlessly clean, everything we needed! Parking a bonus and just the perfect location from which to explore historic Chester! Just love a “walkable” city!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Chester. The location cannot be beat for sure. Host was fantastic even when I struggled with technical issues booking. Little seating out front was a perfect place to unwind with a little glass of wine after a long day of touring. Beds were incredibly comfortable and we both had excellent night sleeps. Honestly our stay was amazing and I’m so glad we decided to book it.
We liked the Jasmine Cottage, but what the photos don’t show and description does not say is that the two BRs are upstairs and the stairs are quite steep and not carpeted and felt quite dangerous. It’s a really cute place for young people and it’s a great location, but it’s NOT good for older people or families with young children. The W/D was a great plus!

Not to our taste
The property was cleverly marketed, you failed to say that the bathroom is on the ground floor plus it is so small and some faults. There are only two windows in the house both seized up,the only way to ventilate the house is to open the main and only door.In the recent three years we have stayed in five Chester properties and I would say Jasmine cottage is overpriced by about two hundred pounds
Property was nice, situated behind a garage business but very close to main high street and amenities. Stairs are steep so not for kids or older people as they are not carpeted . Main bedroom had Aircon but it was too noisy to use. Nice welcome pack of wine, chocolate and nibblesbut it
