Relax & reconnect in this peaceful mountain view cabin where privacy, comfort and family fun come together. Nestled in the trees less than 2 miles to Bear Lake, the 3 story layout provides a bedroom and bathroom on each level and provides your group the space you want with all the comforts of home.

Relax on the wraparound deck with your morning coffee while you take in long range mountain views. Evenings are perfect around the fire pit or hanging out in the game room.

Families love our open living area, upstairs loft, and downstairs game spaces where everyone can spread out or enjoy time together. There are plenty of places to hang out or sneak away with a book. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals at home.

You get the best of both worlds here: peaceful privacy on a beautiful wooded lot plus easy access to nearby activities. Spend the day on Bear Lake or Lake Glenville, visit waterfalls, hike local trails, fish, boat, tube or take a day trip to charming mountain towns. Western Carolina University, Sylva, Cashiers and Highlands are close by.

After your adventures, come home to a cozy cabin with fast WiFi, streaming TVs, comfortable beds, a washer and dryer, and parking right outside the door.

Beautiful property with stunning views

This was our second year staying at this property as we enjoyed it so much the first time! The views from the porch are stunning and plenty of hammocks and outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the mountains. The house has a lot of fun amenities like ping pong, foosball, and other games to keep teens/younger kids entertained. The three main bedrooms are spread out on different floors allowing space and privacy for our group. The host is very warm and welcoming and checked in with us several times throughout the week to make sure all was good with our stay. This is an excellent home for a family vacation!

Wonderful secluded cabin with amazing views

This property is the perfect isolated mountain getaway with an incredible view and excellent amenities. There were an abundance of fun games for us to play, reliable WiFi, awesome firepit with firewood provided, and comfortable beds. The driveway is VERY sharp and steep, but it is a private drive so you feel quite safe and secluded. Our host was reliably communicative giving clear instructions for check in and check out. Beware if booking over a weekend that they will expect you to haul all of your trash out with you. A bit out of the way from things to do in the area, but the mountain view paired with the birds and pretty flowers around the property make it so you don’t want to leave anyways! Highly recommend this property.

North Carolina Family vacation

What a great cabin to stay in! The view was gorgeous. The cabin was exceptional. The hosts did all they could to make our stay great. The first two days we did not venture out from the cabin due to rain, but we had plenty of board games to keep us entertained. The wrap-around porch was fantastic! I would highly recommend a stay in the cabin. Will not regret your decision to stay here.

Wonderful time in Tuckasegee

We had a wonderful time. The owners were attentive to anything we needed and wonderful to work with. They thought of everything to keep all ages happy from ping pong to games along with a fire pit and beautiful views. It made our time there feel like a second home. Thank you!

Beautiful home in the mountains

This property was perfect for our group of 5 adults and one teenager. The views of the mountains are incredible and the house was well stocked, comfortable, and had lots of fun activities. The hosts checked in several times to make sure our stay was going well. We loved our stay here and would return again!

Incredible Mountain Getaway

Amazing mountain view from many places inside the house and on the deck. The owners are very responsive and put a lot of thought into making the stay memorable. Indoor/outdoor games, fire pit, swings, basketball hoop, plenty to do at the house when you're not out and about. When you are out, there is great hiking and a number of really cool mountain towns to eat, shop and adventure in. We had a blast staying at Tuck'd In.

Perfect cabin for making family memories

Tuck’d Inn was set up so that everyone (three generations) could enjoy the beauty of the mountains with plenty to do right there on the property. The wrap around porch offered a beautiful area for outdoor meals, the rocking chairs were great for quiet moments at the beginning or ending of each day and the porch and rounds swings as well as the hammock's provided lots of fun for the kiddos. The games, corn hole and fire pit all added to the fun. Having three separate levels for bedrooms allowed for quiet and restful sleep. The kitchen provided all that we needed for making meals. Beverly, one of the hosts was excellent at keeping in touch and getting back if we had any questions. Hands down, this cabin was a wonderful experience and getaway!

Perfection

This is the perfect getaway cabin. Beverly thought of everything and was an exceptional host. The cabin is just as described with everything from outdoor games, board games, hammocks, and beautiful scenery. It was very well stocked and very comfy and cozy. Home away from home. Highly recommend!

Beverly was an amazing host and the house was awesome!

Beverly the host was beyond accommodating and an amazing host. The house was exactly like it’s portrayed and more. We have four kids there was so much to do a lot more than expected. The views were spectacular. Sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and taking in the views was one of our favorite things to do! We had and amazing family vacation!!!

Wonderful getaway in the mountains!

Beverly and Michael's cabin was the perfect stay for our trip to the mountains. It completely exceeded our expectations! Stunning views, clean, well stocked and plenty of options for our families to do if we didn't want to leave the cabin. Centrally located between quaint little cities and beautiful hikes of all kinds. Best Cabin

This was absolutely the best cabin we have ever stayed in! I traveled with husband and my kids, my parents and sister and her kids. The kids had the most fun, there was so much to do at the cabin. There was so much space outside for the kids to run around, the swings were entertainment for hours, corn hole, ping pong. Inside we had intense foosball games, spent time trying to beat the high score on pac man and much more. The hosts were the best hosts from any cabin we have stayed at. They have put a lot of thought into all the things little and small. Beverly messaged me often with any updates, loads of info on cabin and things to do around town. She checked on us during our stay and was super fast to respond. Gave us tips during our stay, such as turning the cabin lights off and checking out the stars. It was as spectacular as she said it would be. The cabin was so clean and we felt right at home, but with a much better view, which was also amazing!! We will definitely be back!!

The perfect escape

The property was perfect! Gorgeous views, fully stocked and super comfortable. We had the best time playing games, watching movies, and enjoying the views. Wonderful nearby towns. We drove to Waynesville to cut down our Christmas tree and enjoyed shopping and food in Highlands. Highly recommend!

"Tuck'd Inn" Catamount Country

Our family of 6 visited for WCU's family weekend and this property exceeded all our expectations! The cabin was clean and welcoming, with lovely decor, had everything you might need in a kitchen, well appointed bathrooms, and comfortable sleeping accommodations. As wonderful as the interior of the home was, the pictures online just do not do the exterior justice! We couldn't get enough of the breathtaking view from the porch swings, spectacular. We also enjoyed the hammocks, the fire pit, and table tennis. Had the weather not been as beautiful as it was, we would have had plenty to keep us occupied inside, dvds, games, and the pac man arcade machine. All in all, a very well appointed home, close to area sightseeing and WCU. The hosts have literally thought of everything prior to their guests' arrival. We would be thrilled to be able to stay here again on return trips to the area.

Perfect for the whole crowd!

We used this property for home-base during a homecoming weekend getaway/celebration at WCU. It was a great location not too close to campus and other congestion and noise, but not so far away that you couldn't swing back in to grab something you forgot. The home and property were extremely clean and cared for with wonderful views from all levels of the house. There was plenty of space and privacy on the 3 levels and amazing wrap around porches and activity space. We used the perfectly situated fire pit area as much as we could at night to make s'mores and reminisce. We were greeted with a goody basket and welcome note, which we all thought was delightful. Several visitors commented on the remarkable space and inquired on the VRBO listing for future stays in the area. Great communication with the actual lovely homeowners (not a corporation). All of the amenities and extras that you could think of to make your stay just like your own home!

Peaceful getaway

This property is an amazing escape. If you want to just get away and do nothing, this is the place to do it. The property is beautiful and serene. You can hang out in hammocks or swings all day, play games- indoors and out, sit by the magical firepit, and the view of the stars from the driveway are incredible. It is a great location for day hikes and a short distance to quaint towns with delicious food.

You should stay here!

This house over delivered in all areas! The view from the porch was spectacular! I didn’t want to cook while on vacation but when the dining table was positioned with a breathtaking view, we didn’t want to leave. The house was so much fun for all of us. We played foosball, pac-man, ping-pong, board games, watched movies (awesome DVD collection), corn hole, basketball, family race up the driveway so we could eat as many s’mores around the very cool fire pit as we wanted. We used the All trail app to find awesome waterfall trails near by. The town of Sylva was an easy 20 minutes one direction and Cashiers was a more winding 40 minutes drive the other way. Beverly was an amazingly attentive host making sure that all of our needs were met! The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of accessories! Our family jokingly tried to find something that the host left out of the very well thought out home and we couldn’t come up with anything! We drank coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings as we watched the clouds roll around the mountain tops and the hummingbird show!

Breathtakingly Beautiful! Best Vacation ever

This property is hands down amazing! It’s so clean and breathtakingly beautiful. They covered all the details in making memories with your family. The waterfalls 20 min away were the best experiences ever!!! This home is a must see and such hospitable hosts!!!! We will be back over and over for sure.
