"This is an amazing place to stay. Very comfortable, clean and homely. Beds were comfy and the garden area was great espiecally in the warm weather. We went with 4 adults and there was plenty of space to sit and relax when we were in the house. Great off road parking. The kitchen had everything you need to cook if you want to and there is a bbq outside. There are eating and drinking establishments nearby which are very good and within a 5 minute walk. Purdy Lodge

Purdy Lodge

8/10 Good
"A great room, restaurant and friendly staff. The room was clean with a good supply of coffee, tea, biscuits etc. The staff were friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was spot on, ditto the bar which had a good choice of drinks. The location was perfect for local tourist spots which for us included Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick Castles and Cragside. The only small change that i would make would be to include a fuller set of toiletries and perhaps extend breakfast to a 10 cut off."
