Chateau-d'Oex-Praz-Perron Cable Car

Great location, really close to the train station and the promenade. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Good breakfast at the hotel, which made getting on with our day nice and easy. The only slight negative was that we were there during a heatwave, and the central air conditioning system didn’t seem to cope very well - we ended up moving rooms and still needing a fan to try and keep the heat down. But other than that, we had a fabulous time in Montreux would definitely stay here again!

The Afterwork is a lovely hotel. It is in close driving distance to beaches, vineyards, and conveniences like shopping and groceries. It is in a more commercial / industrial surrounding, so no views, but for the price it delivers excellent value. Check in and check out were easy. The hotel room was spacious and well designed. The bed is comfortable with a firm mattress and nice bedding. The room was tidy and well cleaned daily during our stay. We stayed during summer and it was really hot. The air conditioning at this hotel works well and kept us cool while we slept. We did not opt for breakfast but did have dinner one evening. The food could improve. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would return to this property.
