Bedrooms were clean. Sheets poor quality, the storm door opens into the kitchen and was filthy. Mold and black the screen door slams as if the springs are broke . No toaster, 1 pot , to cook in . There is a small patio but no outside furniture. No soap in the bathroom. Looking for an extra pillow the pillow case on it in the closet was dirty.. Typically at the air Ban B s we have stayed in a a smalll welcoming basket, maybe with coffee,extra toothbrush etc. This stay had nothing.

Stayed with friends for a wedding in town. Great location and clean house! Close to most main attractions in Cville. There was an unsealed pipe sticking out of the shower wall, so we were a little worried about the water getting behind the wall.

Convenient location near UVA

We rented this property for a graduation party in town. It met all of our needs. The one bathroom was a bit of challenge for the 5 of us that stayed but, it was nothing some scheduling didn't solve. It was clean and the host was very responsive.

Nice place.

We were there for UVA graduation It was just 2 of us The place was nice and comfortable. I would suggest you get rid of the hot tub amenity. We were disappointed it wasn’t there. Also please hook your fridge to water line so people can have ice and filtered water Tap water was less than desirable. Thank you.

Charming-but needs deep clean and power update

Great location for our family visit for holiday…access was simple and straightforward. Single bathroom was tight but manageable. There were several areas that needed deep cleaning including window ledges, baseboards and blinds which had caked dirt and bugs

Terrible

The code had not been set and the house had not been cleaned, causing my family to have to pay over $500 for a room for the night. The property manager promised a full refund but a week later still has not communicated with VRBO to request it so that now I must document all of the many problems or dispute it with my credit card company. Even the next day after the cleaners had come, the house was still very dirty (e.g., the bathroom sink was in the exact condition it had been the evening before). Worst VRBO experience ever. I’ve never left a negative review and wasn’t going to here, but the property manager’s failures to communicate and do as promised to make it right are inexcusable.

Filthy!

I read the previous posts about the cleanliness of this home and thought for sure that it would have been addressed. Nope! I do not think this house has been cleaned in months. The property manager changes the sheets and puts out clean towels and that is about it. The bathroom was disgusting. Filthy toilet - brown, yellow all over. Crud all over the sink and I could knit a scarf with all of the hair in the showers. I cleaned what I could to endure the stay, but I wished that I had just booked a hotel instead so that I was not stuck there. The kitchen was full of crumbs, there was hair IN the refrigerator. The dining area had crumbs all over the floor and table. And there were bugs flying all around. I opened the curtains to let in some air and there was just dirt and dead bugs everywhere. The owner basically poured a can of the Benjamin Moore color of the year and walked away from the place. I reached out with my concerns and no feedback. Beyond disappointing.

Concerns

Nicely renovated house but there was no hot water, upon check in the toilet was filthy & needed to be thoroughly clean, the house had a musty smell - out clothes had the same odor, & yard was unkept

Not cleaned

The property had decent furnishings and I had pretty good communication with a manager in the beginning. But after we checked in, noticed it was very dirty floor hadn’t been swept the kitchen or mopped. Countertops were dirty inside the refrigerator was dirty. Sink was dirty. the bathroom had not been cleaned at all the garbage was full, I spent an hour cleaning and I had to go buy hand soap since there was water down and almost empty. No shampoo or conditioner and no bar of soap for the shower no extra toilet paper when I complain to the manager, he said he would get back to me and he never did , I expect a refund on the cleaning fee but I probably won’t get it. Not a bad house but they need a new cleaner.

Decent House

The house was great for a family of five. With 3 bedrooms, everyone had space to spread out. The dining room table was great for playing games. However, the cleaning crew needs some retraining throughout every room in the house. The kitchen could use a few more amenities like a toaster and coffee pods for the Keurig, however, if you don't plan on cooking any meals at the house or you bring your own coffee/tea, you will have no problem. A plus is the very user-friendly lock.

The house was great, the beds were very comfortable and its location was perfect for access to the grounds, downtown, and the athletic complex! Only suggestions- would have loved some furniture to sit outside and the living room love seats were not comfortable nor adequate for 5 guests to hangout together.

Needed a cleaning

The house had a bad smell that we could not identify the source of. The overall cleanliness could have been better, the floor had not been cleaned and the linens in one room were visibly dusty. There was a garbage can outside that was filled to the brim… but didn’t seem to be the source of the smell. Property otherwise was ok.
