This is a newly constructed home that features an open layout on the first floor. The kitchen has a large island with KitchenAid appliances and cream colored quartz countertops.
The dining area is set up for six; however, the large island adds abundant space for additional guests. The living area is set up for eight people, and the large flat fireplace can heat the entire open area and includes a 60 inch TV above the floating mantle.
The main floor balcony entrance is just off the living room (four large glass sliding doors). The Trex deck is large, can hold 15-20 people (includes seating for 10), and provides shade or cover from rain/snow. Note: seating can increase based on demand and guests requests.
Finally, the laundry room is quite large and includes large capacity washer and dryer, a utility sink, a small table, drying racks and lot’s of storage.
The second floor includes a sizable master bedroom (king size bed) with an on suite bathroom that includes a large stand alone tub, separate shower, and dual sinks. The second floor also includes three additional bedrooms and two additional bathrooms.
The basement is roughly 1000 sq ft and includes a separate bedroom (queen size bed) and an on suite bathroom that has a sink and a shower/bathtub.
The large basement open area includes a ping pong table, a queen size Murphy bed (disguised as a large white bookshelf), along with a futon (plush queen size mattress) and a 65 in TV.
Walkout basement leads to a large patio (as pictured). Seating on the patio currently accommodates five, but can easily increase upon request. A grill and fire pit are also available. There is lots of green space in the back that leads to a creek, so guest may see small deer and foxes, which flee upon encounters with people. Also note: the backyard is not fenced off on all sides. No neighbors to the right, but neighbors are to the left of the house. Plenty of space between the two homes.
Guests can access the entire property.
I'll be available via text and e-mail, or in person upon request.
Quiet, mature, transitioning neighborhood with new developments springing up. This neighborhood is a 15 min walk from the city center, UVA hospital, and the UVA campus. Wegmans and Food Lion grocery stores are a 5 min drive away.
Guests can walk to many of the city center restaurants, bars, and shops within 10-15 minutes. Biking lanes are available throughout most of city area, if you like to ride. Additionally, Uber/Lyft drivers are available for a 5-10 minute ride depending on the traffic. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods, but free parking becomes more limited closer to downtown and campus areas. Downtown has plenty of paid parking at reasonable rates. The larger grocery stores, such as Wegmans or Food Lion, are a short drive down 5th St, the main artery leading to the home.
The house is child friendly, but not child proof. Outlets are child proof; however, cabinets and other areas do not include child locks or fenced areas.
Do not use the property for parties—neighborhood is quiet, and I don’t want to disrupt neighbors.
Please remove shoes to protect the floors.
Please do not place hot pans or dishes on the kitchen countertops or dining table.

We were a wedding group and stayed for four days; what a wonderful property. Plenty of space and beautiful fall views from the deck. Everything was very clean and organized, very easy checkin/check out, we would highly recommend!
We rented this house for my son and his groomsmen and it was perfect.it has everything you can possibly need or want We had many family members come and visit for meals, the layout was great - loads of space and lots of seating Could not ask for a better location !!! We will definitely rent again
Our family enjoyed a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The fireplace was a welcome feature to come back to after a cold hike and a day of exploring the area. The home was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back.
New, comfortable property with all of the amenities! Reggie’s was a great host, from communication to the extras including pastries and a bottle of wine when we checked in. A truly great place and experience
Stayed here for a work retreat. Perfect house for this purpose. Plenty of room for meetings and work. We were all together but each had our own rooms and bathrooms. The house is beautiful and spotless. The owner checked in on us and made us feel important. We will definitely stay here again.
Large group of us were in Charlottesville for an event. House was perfect for 6 couples. Bedrooms were comfortable and common space had room for all of us. Close to downtown.
Beautiful, well appointed home with all you need for a great time and a great stay. Stayed with family for a weekend wedding. Very happy with the accommodations and all the added conveniences. Kitchen, furniture and bedrooms all A plus!
Thanks Reggie!
Home was perfect for multiple families, with plenty of bedroom, bathrooms, and gathering space.
Beds, pillows and linens were high end and very comfortable. Home feels brand new and is in pristine condition. House was well supplied and owner went out of his way to bring us coffee!!
We had a wonderful stay in Charlottesville! The home was clean and spacious, with plenty of room for our large group of 12. The location was also excellent, just a short drive (or walk!) from downtown Charlottesville and walking distance to nearby parks and hiking trails. Reggie was so responsive - when we messaged requesting some extra sheets he rushed right over to bring us the supplies we needed. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone!
This is a beautiful house with luxury details, even better than pictures. We had a group of five couples, and it was a wonderful choice to relax during a Charlottesville getaway. Liked the easy walk to the downtown mall and Main Street area from a quiet neighborhood. Reggie was lovely to communicate with. I hope to come back someday!
The house is beautiful and has lots of bedrooms and a nice deck with seating. Host was proactive and timely with information regarding check-in and checkout and left a nice gift for us.
House is beautiful -only thing to note is that there’s not a huge living space. We were a group of friends up for the weekend and would have liked a few comfy couches/oversized chairs for hanging in.
We had a group of 8 family members for UVA grad. The house was perfect for our needs - plenty of space to spread out and also to gather and celebrate. The house was spotless clean - like my standard of clean is very high and I was impressed. The beds were super comfortable. We had several cars and could get them all in the garage/driveway. It is a short 5-10 minute drive to UVA - a 5min drive to Downtown mall - could maybe walk but we didn't with grandparents. The Wegmans is close and the wineries are convenient as well. We had a lovely weekend and very thankful for Reggie as a host who was very available and helpful.
We were in town to celebrate a 100th birthday. We had 7 adults and 5 children. The house was very clean. The host had left fresh flowers on the kitchen table and some local delicacies for us when we arrived. There were plenty of comfortable beds and bedrooms. The kids loved the ‘double decker’ beds.
The downstairs had open space for the kids to play. The kitchen had ample counter space for food and drinks.
The location was great for access to downtown and Wegmans.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
This house is exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It was very clean, spacious and inviting. It is perfect for a large group. Additionally, we were welcomed with fresh flowers, wine, and baked goods - such a thoughtful touch. The house also already had pretty much everything you need - towels (even makeup ones), coffee, tea, soap, etc. The location of the house is great - everywhere we wanted to go downtown (restaurants etc) were 5 minutes max driving. Additionally, there is ample parking between the garage and the driveway, so we all had a spot! Overall, I would highly recommend this beautiful house!
We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Every detail was intentional to make the home warm and inviting and comfortable. We had 2 families and there was so much room - we especially loved the open basement that we could send kids downstairs to play in the morning. The beds are all very comfortable and the towels were great as well. Kitchen is fully stocked which made cooking meals at the house a breeze. I also really appreciated the light “before you leave” list- some places want you to basically clean the house before you go and Reggie only requested the sheets and towels in the laundry bins. Reggie was super communicative and got right back to us with any questions. We are already planning to come back and I don’t see us staying anywhere else!
This house is great and just as advertised. We were a group of 8 adults and one toddler. We had plenty of room; everyone (both couples and singles) had their own bedroom and bath. The kitchen is spacious, modern, and well equipped, and the big island provides a great social platform for wine and snacks while dinner is being prepared. For those who wanted to briefly escape with a book, the back balcony seemed perfect, with lots of birds, very impressive hawks, and occasional deer passing by. We walked to an excellent and vibrant farmers market on Saturday morning, and a Wegman’s is within a very short drive, as is Monticello, UVA, and downtown Charlottesville.
For our needs and the occasion, I don’t believe we could have made a better choice than this property. If our annual meet-up comes back to Charlottesville, I am sure we would book this house again.
This property did not disappoint! It is a spacious home that is beautifully decorated. We were in Charlottesville for a girls weekend and the house provided plenty of room for our party of 9. The location is perfect...just minutes from the downtown area, Carter's Mountain and many of the local wineries. We lucked out with the weather and were able to spend time on the back deck which provided ample seating for our entire group. Reggie is a wonderful host and we arrived to a bouquet of flowers, wine and fresh baked muffins. He went above the call of duty after we departed by locating an item that was left behind and mailing it back to a member of our party. While we had a house full of adults, the accommodations are perfect for families as well. The basement area provides plenty of entertainment opportunities. There's a ping pong table, corn hole and plenty of games. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful home with a very gracious host!
property fairly new and accommodations were nice. Beds were very nice. Felt like we had most of what we needed, but local family did bring additional things (pots, folding table, etc) with them. Living room and seating a little limited for the number of guests the house indicates they accommodate - but we made due with kitchen chairs, portables. Host was great and very responsive. My family had a great time and pleased with the house and location with reasonable access to to downtown.
Wonderful property that suited our needs perfectly to. Great layout with bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Only negative was the gun shots we heard several nights.
We visited Charlottesville to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. The house was amazing along with the wineries and food scene. Look forward to visiting again!
