"This motel is very old and in need of serious renovation which is probably not cost efficient. Many of the "guests" appeared rather dubious and one did not get the impression it would be wise to be walking around the area after dark. The on line pictures were very misleading with respect to the overall quality of accommodations. I guess the low cost should have been a red flag but not being familiar with the area I took a chance. Last time I'll do that. "

"The staff at reception; they couldnt do enough for us. We did have an issue with the cleaner, that did not get resolved, hence the missing star. The room was a standard room, not the ritz, but you get what you pay for. It suited our budget and we would definitely go back...purely because of how friendly the staff and other occupants were. Just be prepared not to expect daily housekeeping...this is supposed to happen once per week. However, we did not receive this despite being on the rota. The person on shift to clean our room did enter our room...but it wasnt cleaning that they did. Moving swiftly on...we had a great time. But for those that drive, I suggest hiring a car, as you cant get anywhere on foot from here. We survived on the use of Lyft...which isnt too expensive but it does add up. We wished we had hired a car for convenience. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here. So if you're looking for something on a very tight budget, this would work for you. "
